Job Overview
Come join the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) in the Product Development PMO team, as a Principal Technical Program Manager, supporting our Tech initiatives. The Tech team forms the foundation for our growth engine of products in SBSEG, including QuickBooks Online, QB Money, and Payroll, which power prosperity for all our small businesses. This role is to lead the SBSEG platform Future of Work initiatives which impact all products in the small business group. The SBSEG Product Development PMO’s Mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the organization by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity.
Responsibilities
- Kickstart multi-org programs, aligning disparate leaders and programs on single program outcomes
- Create program structures that empower multi-org and distributed teams to achieve successful outcomes
- Manage program dependencies, reporting and Sr. Leader escalations and communications
- Define multi-org product & operational standards, dashboards, and processes
- Drive continuous improvement across multi-org program teams enabling product & operational excellence
- Drive/challenge discussions with experts achieving optimal outcomes
- Influence program outcomes to align with Intuit’s technical & business strategy
- Bring outside-in learnings to the team
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across Product Development, Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Develop a close working relationship with the stakeholders to ensure that the team is focused on the highest priority programs, and is helping deliver the most value to our customers
- Develop common mechanisms for keeping key stakeholders informed on the portfolio progress, risks, and issues
Qualifications
- Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 10+ years leading multiple complex software development projects
- Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs
- Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences
- Strong technical knowledge of web based applications with the ability to guide and influence senior leaders
- Ability to rally teams behind your execution plan, communicate a clear story of challenges and opportunities, and align executive teams on program outcomes
- Experience driving program outcomes in an Agile/Scrum based environment, balancing the desire of date driven business outcomes and prioritization-based development outcomes
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $204000-276000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
