Senior Business Data Analyst
Company Overview

Job Overview
Do you have a passion for making huge business impacts by leveraging data-driven insights? Do you love working collaboratively in an innovative environment? Would you love to make an impact on our customers’ lives? Come join Intuit where you’ll be empowered to do the best work of your life!
We have an exciting opportunity that is defining how we use analytics to transform customer experiences, accelerate business growth and optimize our growth efforts. We are looking for a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills; someone who is an independent self-starter with experience in product analytics, someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and a fast paced environment. As a Senior Business Data Analyst, you will be in a highly influential position to inform product strategy and drive maximum business results.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with huge data sets
- Run regular A/B tests, gather data, perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions on the impact of your optimizations and communicate results to peers and leaders to measure and optimize execution of data-driven strategies in emerging areas of the TurboTax roadmap
- Manage building data pipeline, enhancements and integrations with data engineering
- Driving business strategy: You will provide recommendations utilizing multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn’t exist. You will be critical to decision-making
- Driving self-serve and data literacy: You will define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards. You will pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with product analytics, web analytics, customer care analytics, or other customer experience analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel, with expertise in modern advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python a plus
- Strong business and product sense: delight in shaping vague questions into well-defined analyses and success metrics that drive business decisions
- Experience in programming languages and stats packages (e.g. Python, R); experience in developing and deploying machine learning models preferred
- Experience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking in clickstream
- Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
- A great storyteller and communicator and can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences and leaders
- Proactive and inquisitive learner seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that solve for our customers, rather than reacting to circumstances
- MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent work experience is preferred
