Come join the SBSEG Strategic Communications Team on the Blog Team as a Senior Content Strategist leading our blog content programming for our MidMarket business segment. Our team’s mission is to drive global brand authority, affinity and demand generation with breakthrough, discoverable thought leadership and authentic, relatable content. The senior content strategist’s objective is to accelerate business performance with blog content aligned with our go-to-market strategies for MidMarket in partnership with Comms, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success.

The Senior Content Strategist will own blog content strategy end to end for this high profile, high growth part of our business. They’re responsible for creating customer-backed and business-aligned strategies that support our MidMarket platform solutions such as Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Advanced.  This includes using blog content and working on content initiatives with cross-functional GTM partners across Comms, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to build authority, affinity, awareness, consideration and lead generation.

The candidate will have extensive experience developing and executing a B2B content strategy focused on different GTM priorities and different stages in the customers’ buying journey.  They’ll apply product knowledge, business expertise and data insights to deliver impactful content programming that drives brand and business outcomes.  The Strategist manages content agencies and creators who produce high-quality, engaging, SEO-optimized and informative blog content and other related assets that help mid-market and enterprise businesses succeed, and give them a reason to choose us. They’ll have excellent communication and ways-of-working skills, are confident presenting strategy and performance results, and able to influence and gain buy-in from senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy: Develop, lead and own the end-to-end content strategy program that aligns with Intuit’s business objectives for MidMarket customers. Work cross-functionally with teams to execute. Influence and shape the work to drive business outcomes.
  2. Content Program Management: Lead the creation, production and management of compelling and valuable content. This includes creating content briefs, assigning tasks, reviewing content, and ensuring accuracy, and quality across all channels.
  3. Content Amplification: Partner with the media team and media agencies to amplify content across third-party channels, as well as owned channels like social media. Help to move work forward and increase reach, and review performance data in real time to optimize and make fast decisions.
  4. Content performance: Track, analyze and report on content performance metrics.  Use data insights and learnings to inform content strategy, optimize content creation, and improve ROI. Collaborate with other teams to integrate content metrics into our broader business goals and performance indicators.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

  • Increase traffic from organic and paid channels
  • Improve organic search visibility and rankings (brand and non-brand)
  • Generate leads for new customers via content programming
  • Increase interactions per visitor and blog engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a content marketing or editorial role for a B2B, technology or digital company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide data-driven insights.
  • Knowledge of current trends in content marketing and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and priorities, and confident in managing agencies.
  • Experience using content management systems, analytics platforms, and reporting tools, such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEO Clarity or similar.
  • Experience using analytics tools for reporting such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Search Console or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in WordPress and other CMS is a plus.
  • Enterprise B2B experience a plus

Skills

  • Experience with communication and marketing programs for enterprise technology products and/or B2B software industry
  • Excellent leadership, strategy, professional writing and communication skills
  • Able to work cross functionally, meet deadlines, and gain buy in from senior leaders
  • Strong ability to take strategic direction, research necessary tactics, and create a working process of execution.
  • Experience in crafting content for mid-market and enterprise level business audiences
  • Hands-on experience managing various content projects related to product go-to-market, audience, and SEO improvements, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong partnership skills to work with different teams and creative, analytical, and strategic mindsets when it comes to content off-platform like social, influencers, and video.
  • Experience managing a content calendar, schedule, briefing agency topics, reviewing and editing for SEO and content accuracy, as well as revising content drafts.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $184,500 - 249,500, Southern California $174,000 - 235,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
