As they become more experienced, the complexity and strategic impact of the matters that they work on will increase.

Based upon the interests of the person in the position, there could be an opportunity to move to specialized areas within contracts and marketing or in related areas such as product or privacy. The successful applicant will directly interact with our senior leaders, learn and collaborate with our business partners, and leverage our processes all while making fast decisions, bringing your recommendations to life, and changing the trajectory of our business.

This role is hybrid with on-site expectations of 3 days per week. We prioritize being together to promote connection and belonging, creativity and innovation, as well as speed, agility, and productivity to accelerate getting work done.

Responsibilities

• Working with the legal department’s Global Alliances group, this individual will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising upon various U.S. and global partnership transactions, including in-bound and out-bound data licenses, SaaS, marketing, enterprise sales, sales channel, and other commercial contracts with minimal direction and supervision.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, a “can do” attitude, the willingness to work on a very large variety of tasks  across business units, as well as manage and prioritize multiple concurrent activities. The successful candidate will understand the technical and business ramifications of the transactions the individual  handles and also how to help the business intelligently manage both legal and business risks.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $206,000 - $279,000, Southern California $203,000 - $275,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications

• Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school or meet the requirements for legal education in a foreign country and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar
• 6+ years experience in commercial/transactional areas of contract drafting, negotiation and deal management for larger business transactions
• Ability to think strategically and leverage strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally & build enduring partnerships
• Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
• High energy, positive mindset and "can do" attitude
