Intuit’s Consumer Group’s CRM team is looking for an experienced marketing manager who is able to bring to life personalized experiences to the tax filing customer journey through email. You are a competent email marketer who can combine technology and creative marketing to make transformative ideas come to life. You create campaigns that inspire and educate our customers throughout the tax season lifecycle while sharing our message of powering prosperity. This role will be responsible for driving and managing email campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention elevating key value props within the TurboTax product with the ability to tell stories in a compelling way.

This is a contract position for a one-year period, with the goal of identifying a candidate for a longer term, full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage TurboTax retention email campaigns focused on “Top of Funnel” ad hoc, journey, and automated programs that focus on bringing new and returning customers into the TurboTax product.
  • Develop best-in class email campaigns with compelling storytelling and ensuring brand integrity.
  • Work directly with data managers to understand what customer attributes exist, where the customer data originates, and how to utilize that data to trigger and personalize email campaigns.
  • Articulate complex campaign requirements to deployment partners to ensure their proper implementation. Help maintain calendars and define execution
  • Promote channel growth with a rigorous test-and-learn strategy gathering feedback directly from Develop and test hypotheses quickly to provide actionable insights for the business.
  • Help develop omnichannel journey building capabilities in support of growing lifecycle efforts in partnership with the data activation team.
  • Partner with the analytics team to understand channel performance, gain deeper insights into challenges and opportunities, and identify mitigation measures as needed.
  • Present campaign and channel performance results to the CRM team, the broader organization, and key business stakeholders with clear, concise communication and intent.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years craft expertise in email marketing with demonstrated success in personalization, optimization, and journey orchestration.
  • Exceptional creative brief writing skills that can translate to clear, impactful, and action-driven email campaigns with extremely strong storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively under tight deadlines and high pressure demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and will go the extra mile to delivery quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and execute with extreme precision
  • Superior organizational, project management and communication skills - this role requires hands-on management of end-to-end campaign deployment.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders with a keen eye to identify business priorities.
  • Experience partnering with Strategy teams to help devise, implement and measure complex test plans.
  • Understand key campaign, channel and customer level metrics and know how to translate business learnings into actionable plans.
  • Report on campaign and channel performance, partnering with Analytics as needed, and share actionable insights to the organization and key business
  • A decisive test-and-learn mentality constantly challenging the norms, unafraid to ask the bold questions, and unafraid to fail. Ready to transform ideas and build with speed.
  • Comfortable articulating campaign requirements, closely partnering with CRM data and operations teams to ensure their proper implementation.
  • Experience navigating third-party agency partnerships to produce impeccable-quality, reliable work.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $120,000 - 162,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
