Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.

The expected base pay range for this position is:Bay Area: $149,000 - $201,500This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire design thinking process, from conducting user research to identify customer needs, through to crafting and iterating on design solutions, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Apply cross audience, cross platform and strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among customer needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
  • Create user interface design, architecture, and functionality according to usability best practices, standards-compliant design, and most importantly, user tested data
  • Be an excellent communicator, conveying design ideas and solutions through both verbal and visual means, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and team
  • Collaborate effectively with other designers, product management, development, and other team members in different time zones and countries
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer problem through human-centered research using a variety of generative and evaluative research methodologies
  • Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
  • Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately

Qualifications

  • 4+years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field; Master’s preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Customer-centric design mindset
  • Experience designing for web and mobile (native and mobile web), working with design systems and reusable component libraries
  • Expertise in conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
  • Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma
  • Familiarity with web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions
  • Prior content design experience or strong content proficiency (nice to have)
  • A background in global and/or fintech design (nice to have)
  • A well-presented online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process
