We're seeking a passionate and independent Staff Business Data Analyst with excellent analytical skills to join our Sales Motion Analytics team at Intuit. This position is ideal for someone with experience in sales analytics, product growth, customer engagement, and retention, and a passion for delivering data-driven insights. You'll have the opportunity to accelerate business growth, optimize our growth efforts, and improve customer experiences in an innovative and collaborative environment that empowers our customers with the best experiences of their lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales leaders and stakeholders with guidance on how to use available data for critical business needs and goals
- Effective storytelling with data, to educate and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.
- Manage the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis setting, data cleansing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning
- Design and implement the approach needed to methodically and iteratively structure, extract, analyze, validate, and communicate data-backed insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and build analytics and reporting tools that automate self-serve
- Use expertise and independent judgment in collaborating with peers, data engineers, database managers, and business analysts
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working with sales analytics, product analytics, web analytics, customer analytics, or other customer experience analytics
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Databrick, A/B testing, Tableau, and Excel
- Experience in Advanced Analytics (e.g. Python, R) and developing and deploying machine learning models preferred.
- Ability to tell stories with data, influence business decisions at a leadership level, and provide solutions to business problems
- Exceptional problem-solving, quantitative thinking, organization, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $152,500-206,000, Southern California $149,500-202,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
