Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally-driven and detail-oriented Events Manager, Mid-Market to play a critical execution role in bringing our mid-market event strategies to life. You will be crucial  in delivering significant business outcomes for Intuit Enterprise Suite, Money Services, and Workforce Services, all in service of delivering unparalleled benefit and prosperity for our mid-market customers.  This is a high-impact, national role responsible for the end-to-end execution and management of our crucial mid-market event programs.

Operating within Intuit's robust marketing ecosystem, you will work closely with the global events leader to translate mid-market event strategies into impactful, flawlessly executed brand experiences. You will collaborate with Intuit’s Creative Studio team, leveraging their expertise in brand narrative, experiential marketing, and event production to ensure a cohesive and impactful presence for the mid-market.

You will act as a key contributor to various internal teams, driving the operational aspects of our event presence to optimize overall impact. Responsibilities

  • Program strategy and execution: As strategy lead, you will manage the end-to-end execution of specific mid-market events and programs throughout the calendar year, ensuring strategic alignment translates into flawless experiences that truly benefits our customers.
  • Cross-Channel Strategy and Orchestration: Provide strategic oversight and act as a central connector for a diverse range of mid-market-focused events, including webinars, customer councils, Accountant-focused events, Sales Field Events, Industry Trade Shows, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) events, Partner-led Trade events, and Education events, & major company events like Intuit Connect.
  • Outcome-Driven Planning: Define clear event goals, KPIs, and success metrics (including MQLs, pipeline generated, revenue attribution, attendance rates, NPS/satisfaction scores, and brand perception shifts) with a strong emphasis on demonstrating tangible business outcomes that reflect increased customer value and prosperity.
  • Audience & Content Strategy: Craft compelling, customer-centric content programming tailored specifically to targeted mid-market audiences, addressing their unique pain points and aspirations.
  • Nurture & Optimization: Design and optimize post-event nurture campaigns to maximize lead conversion and customer engagement, ensuring a seamless, valuable journey for every mid-market prospect.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Strategically manage event budgets and oversee vendor selection to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality experiences that consistently elevate the customer's interaction with Intuit.
  • Bold Experimentation: Champion a culture of experimentation, continuously exploring new event formats, technologies, and innovative approaches to push boundaries and enhance event effectiveness, always with the aim of creating more impactful and beneficial experiences for our mid-market audience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders including Go-to-Market (GTM) Mid-Market Team, Mid-Market Sales Team, Product Management, Analytics, Demand Generation, Creative, Sales Enablement, broader Event Strategy teams, and Event Production teams, ensuring a unified, audience-first approach across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in events marketing, with focus on B2B mid-market audiences.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing event strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes, specifically lead generation and revenue attribution, in new or evolving business segments, always rooted in a deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for their success.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a complex, cross-functional environment, acting as a collaborative partner and a key contributor to event success, with the customer's perspective driving collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of event performance tracking and the ability to leverage data to inform operational improvements.
  • Experience with a wide range of event types, including webinars, virtual summits, in-person conferences, field events, trade shows, and ABM events.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and articulate operational details effectively.
  • A "Stronger Together" mindset, demonstrating a natural inclination towards collaboration, fostering partnerships, and achieving collective success, all to better serve our customers.
  • Strong understanding of the mid-market landscape and the unique needs of businesses with $2.5M - $10M+ revenue, with a desire to help them prosper.
  • Strong familiarity with key marketing and event technology platforms for marketing automation and event management.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $158,000-213,500, Southern California $150,500-203,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
