Staff Technical Data Analyst

Job Overview
Access to data is critical to delivering on increased personalization of the customer experience in FY’25 and beyond. To help us achieve this goal, we are seeking a Data Catalyst with a strong background in marketing operations and data enablement. The Data Catalyst will take end-to-end ownership of data enablement, working across multiple teams to deliver key attributes for marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate for the Data Catalyst role is a seasoned professional with a strong blend of technical data skills and marketing operations expertise. They should excel in understanding and translating complex data requirements into actionable insights for marketing teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure the seamless delivery of marketing data needs. This candidate should also be proactive in identifying data opportunities through direct querying and partnering with technical teams to provide insights into how to reach an ideal state considering scalability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Understanding Data Requirements:
- Collaborate with marketing teams and solutions partners to understand and prioritize data attributes needed for campaigns. Help create a shared vision of what is actually needed and how it can be delivered effectively.
- Provide support for data onboarding into our data CDC as well as creation of the pipelines to the marketing tools.
- Provide clear and high-quality data requirements to technical data teams and drive data delivery as a representative of marketing.
- Work with Source and Data teams to sequence data attributes, aligning on real-time versus batch data requirements, analyst logic, understanding up/downstream dependencies etc.
Validation and Support:
- Support validation of new and existing data flows, focusing on data volume and accuracy.
- Act as a data doctor to diagnose and drive the resolution of data issues.
- Provide support on tools and processes, empowering marketers to leverage self-serve data capabilities for marketing activation tools.
Stakeholder Engagement and Enablement:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their use cases and proactively identify data opportunities to address GTM (Go-To-Market) needs.
- Establish operational runbooks and documentation to increase overall rigor, and share best practices with partners to enhance data literacy and usage.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
- Marketing Operations Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing automation, data enablement, audience curation, customer attribution, and omnichannel campaign operations/data activation. Familiarity with CRM and Marketing Automation platforms is required. The ideal candidate will be able to synthesize and communicate complex requirements from across the BU to our analytics partners to deliver accurate data
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience using SQL to explore complex data sets, validate data quality, and produce/document insights for
- and working with JSON files and data. Experience with Databricks (or similar SQL notebooks), Segment CDP, AJO, Eloqua
- Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with the operational aspects of running marketing campaigns, from data sourcing to execution.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve data-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- A blend of technical data skills and a deep familiarity with marketing operations and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills to align with marketing teams and translate requirements to data teams.
- Proactive approach in identifying data opportunities and improving processes to unlock data access and personalization.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure seamless delivery of marketing data needs.
- Degree in STEM or equivalent experience required, Masters/MBA preferred.

- Reduced reliance on product managers and product developers for data-related tasks.
- Ensure a smooth transition to Marketo and then a new CDC marketing layer.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $163,000-220,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
