Staff Technical Program Manager - Tech Strategy

Intuit’s strategy to deliver ‘done-for-you’ experiences with a gateway to human expertise. The Tech Strategic Programs team (also known as the Office of the CTO) supports this strategy by transforming and driving how our 8000+ person Technology ecosystem operates to accelerate outcomes for our customers. This high-performing team focuses on strategic planning, the operating rhythm, executive narratives, portfolio insights and strategic programs that elevate the Technology ecosystem as a high-performing organization.
We are looking for a strategic and organized problem solver with a passion for innovation and data-driven optimization. You will be part of a team working alongside senior leaders to drive strategic planning, operating rhythms, executive reviews, portfolio insights and C-level content, and manage special technology projects critical to Intuit’s long term growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Transform the Technology Ecosystem annual planning processes to refresh the Tech strategy, define input goals, and develop financial and operational plans to ensure the Tech Ecosystem can deliver business priorities and accelerate growth.
- Design and orchestrate AI enabled mechanisms to define Tech Ecosystem input goals and metrics in context of the Intuit wide annual planning process. Partner with planning drivers across Tech Ecosystem in a manner that reduces friction and drives creation of high quality input goals and metrics.
- Develop innovative POV’s incorporating the use of AI to transform processes, and generate data backed insights on key strategic topics.
- Participate in development of planning related executive-level narratives and presentations to be used in CTO and CEO staff forums and board meetings.
- Defining and/or leading strategic programs that are often nascent and/or ambiguous.

- Experience in using structured approaches to simplify complex problems and develop data-backed solutions, combining creativity with a keen business sense
- Ability to generate innovative insights, ideas, and opportunities that help advance the business.
Operational Excellence
- Has used an understanding of strategy, business, and operational performance to improve operations in a way that delivers better customer experiences, growth or efficiency.
- Experience with using AI to automate and streamline operations
- Ability to navigate between the big picture and execution details simultaneously
- Passion for excellence and the desire to have a significant impact on the company
Ownership and Influence
- Ability to develop a clear point-of-view and influence executives persuasively, including helping executives think differently
- Ownership mindset with an ability to convert strategic plans into actions, drive projects to completion, and sweat the details to deliver the outcome
- Self-motivation and willingness to address issues proactively within teams and across a large organization
Change leadership
- Experienced change management leader who is able to influence and build trust across a highly cross-functional organization (peers, working teams, and executives) to accelerate outcomes
- Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong, trusted relationships across a team to achieve a shared goal
- Strong communications (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
Domain Expertise:
- Demonstrated success in quickly absorbing knowledge in different business and technology domains to obtain the context required to drive strategies and craft solutions
- Ability to think broadly but also go deeply when appropriate
- Experience with use of AI tools to streamline processes, and drive velocity
- Experience with transforming complex processes for large companies or executing planning for a large technology organization
- Experience with developing C-suite level content, including framing complex information into content that is simple to understand
- 8+ years experience in business operations, program management, strategy, or consulting, ideally in the technology domain
- A broad understanding of technology and software development, either through a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or through equivalent practical experience.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $177500-240500, Southern California $165000-224500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
