Job Overview
The Intuit Futures Organization is a team dedicated to pushing boundaries and driving innovation within the company. The team achieves this through a variety of means, such as experimentation, extensive research, POC and MVP initiatives. Through these methods, the team aims to develop and incubate emerging technologies, user experiences, and capabilities. By constantly exploring new ideas, the Intuit Futures team identifies and develops solutions that have the potential to be transformative to our customers, products, and business. The team’s work ensures that Intuit remains at the forefront of innovation and can continue delivering valuable products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.As a Staff Full Stack Engineer within the Intuit Futures organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and developing cutting-edge products and technologies that benefit both our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Architect, design, and implement full stack web applications using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Prototyping and Experimentation: Conduct experiments and build POCs to test new technologies and concepts, evaluating their feasibility, scalability, and impact.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to architecture, design, and implementation details to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in full stack development.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Technical Skills:
- Frontend: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Backend: Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java)
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- DevOps: Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, scripting and automation.
- AWS Cloud: Comprehensive experience in AWS services and cloud computing.
- Security and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of web security and data protection.
- AI and ML: Practical experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
