Job Overview

Come join Intuit’s CAO (Controllership, Assurance, & Operations) team as a Finance Go-to-Market Lead! This is an operational role responsible for facilitating assessments and prioritization of billing & offering related initiatives. This person will be an individual contributor working closely with business unit marketers, product managers, accounting, operations, and engineering teams to understand end-to-end offering requirements and identify/drive enablement options that are supportable and maintain financial integrity. You will also be responsible for helping the business identify and prioritize new monetization capabilities required to scale.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidates will have proven leadership skills, experience with billing and revenue systems, experience driving change in fast-paced matrix environments, experience leading complex data driven projects, and the ability to work deep in the details and up-level for our leaders. The individual must have comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end SaaS billing lifecycle from purchase to accounting. The role requires a strong understanding of SaaS-based offerings, back-office ERP systems, and exceptional prioritization and relationship management skills.Key Skills:• Partners with product managers, marketers, operations, accounting, and engineering teams to evaluate new billing initiatives to either a) onboard to existing billing platform or b) assess new capabilities required to support & build.• Strong business acumen to understand offering requirements and ability to apply financial / systems knowledge to develop and propose innovative, high-quality solutions in service to business outcomes. Identify cross-functional dependencies and incorporate into solutions.• Understanding of end-to-end offering lifecycle, including offering design and setup, fundamental accounting of revenue recognition, receivables, electronic payments, and reporting.• Knowledge of billing and revenue systems to enable determination of how Intuit’s offerings fit or don’t fit in the systems.• Embracing ‘driver’ mindset as single point of contact for the marketer/BU owner of offering• Drive meetings to ‘complete’ the offering post concept design and drive decision making with leadership around manual processes and new system capabilities.• Manage expectations, perceptions and develop strong partnerships and shared vision across business unit market leaders, finance, and engineering in various locations. • Develop key metrics and analytics that will allow management to clearly understand outcomes achieved against expectations – and provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize results.

 

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: 

 

Bay Area California $164,500 - $223,000

Southern California $147,000 - $199,000

 

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Business Systems or equivalent work experience.• 6-8 years of project management and/or business analysis experience with emphasis on requirements gathering, end-to-end process design, a strong understanding of systems, process-flow and functional documentation creation and prioritization management.• Ability to manage complexity well and demonstrated experience managing across functions and businesses to accomplish large scale goals.• Strong “systems / process orientation” with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skills.• Knowledge of Accounting and ERP systems including finance modules required. BRM, Oracle Financials, RevStream a plus.• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver quality results in a fast-paced, matrix environment.• Must be able to manage differences of opinion in service to achieving the best outcome for the company.• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and influencing skills, including escalation management and ability to develop strong relationships in a “virtual”, multi-location environment.• Must be able to occasionally flex working hours to accommodate team members in different time zones (including internationally) to ensure effective collaboration.
