Job Overview
The Intuit Finance Global Business Services (GBS) team is critical in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our interns have opportunities to apply their knowledge into real-world problems such as translating strategy to execution, process optimization, scaling change, and delivering enduring business value.
The primary objective of our summer internship program is to bring highly talented people into the organization. Summer internships are a direct pipeline to full time positions in strategic positions with frequent exposure to company leaders, core businesses, and technologies – where you can quickly make meaningful contributions.
While each summer internship is unique, all roles offer the experience of a project which challenges you to apply your knowledge and expertise to real business problems. As this role involves significant interaction with stakeholders across the business, you need the confidence and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate at all levels. The ideal candidate thrives in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic and transformational environment, has a passion for delivering customer-inspired solutions and has the following experience and skills:

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include the development and support for supplier community experiences including optimized supplier registration, automated transacting and agile payment processes that help deliver an ROI for Intuit while increasing engagement with small-to-mid market suppliers. You will be part of the team that rolls up to the Director of Community Impact, Procure-to-Pay and Travel & Expense.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: $40.25 - 54.45 / hr for the San DIego location.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program with an emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong interest and experience or studies in supply management, operations, and supplier diversity & sustainability
- Experienced in process optimization, adept at business analysis and project implementation
- Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, simultaneously manage several priorities, and challenge the status quo to lead change and break-thru operational improvements.
- Attention to details and ability to synthesize information into insightful recommendations to the executive leadership team.
- Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes
- Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction, and credibility
- Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
