Job Overview

The Group Manager of VEP Tech PMO Ops will spearhead tech program operations for the Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) Engineering organization and serve as the Chief of Staff for the Vice President, VEP Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the VEP Engineering VP and leadership team to drive the organizational and operational strategy for the engineering organization
  • Organizational Design: Develop and implement site strategy, organizational design, and culture for the VEP PD organization. Work with HR to foster a high-performance organizational culture and design mechanisms to strengthen the builder culture
  • Financial Management: Partner with Finance to oversee budget planning and tracking for the engineering organization
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to manage hiring plans and progress throughout the year. Prioritize hiring requirements across sites, monitor progress, and accelerate the global hiring process
  • Tech Tools and Platform Management: Oversee the 3P Tech tools/platform portfolio for VEP, including strategic decisions around Build/Buy/Partner and contract renewals in partnership with the Intuit 3PRM team
  • Contractor Management: Lead the planning and management process for contractors to ensure effective engagement and outcomes with 3P CW partners
  • Operational Mechanisms: Design and implement operational mechanisms for the VEP Engineering organization, including tech innovation, learning/training, architecture, and operations. Foster engagement and development within the VEP Engineering organization
  • Tech PMO Leadership: Collaborate with Tech PMO leaders across the CTO staff to drive the tech operating rhythm for the VEP Engineering organization. This includes delivering strategic updates to the CTO staff, CEO staff, and Board, and increasing awareness and adoption of VEP platform/technology innovations across Intuit.
  • Brand Engagement: Work with PR and Communications to build the VEP Engineering brand both internally and externally
  • Event Management: Oversee VEP Engineering operational mechanisms, including Staff, Extended Staff, Offsites, and Town Halls
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with VEP BizOps and TPM teams to align on strategic investments and lead engineering planning and updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 10 years of experience in strategic planning, technical program management, or software engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience managing teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Proven experience in the technology/software industry
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of corporate finance principles,
  • including financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
  • Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with a history of successfully leading and executing complex initiatives
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable strategies
  • Management Capabilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $212,000-287,000, Southern California $206,500-279,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
