Job Overview

Come join Intuit as a Manager 2, Security and Risk Ops. You will lead a a team within the security and risk operations program as well as establish metrics that demonstrate continuous maturity towards target state objectives.  The ideal candidate for the role should have a strong background in data loss prevention (DLP), high interpersonal and leadership skills, be highly analytical and data driven, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Duties Include:

  • Identify, monitor, investigate and implement controls to prevent data exfiltration fromDLP tools and manual reports from the Business Unit's Ensure members from the workforce are operating within the US according to IRC 7216
  • Make recommendations for new monitoring and controls based on observed patterns from data analysis

The responsibilities of this team include: 

  • Analyze data from results of investigations of DLP alerts and manual reports from the Business Units (BUs) of Intuit
  • Automation of sending data to the teams that need it
  • Suggest, implement and optimize use of controls, coaching, training and overall BU awareness
  • Implementing rules and policies that manage risk using proper technology (SOAR, SIEM, DLP tools).
  • Engagement with BU’s for follow-up coaching/training/compliance issues.
  • Engagement with Compliance for risk associated activities with Outsourced workers.
  • Partner with and escalate to Corporate Investigations and legal for risk associated activities within and outside our purview
  • This involves cultivating a culture of trust and security consciousness, ensuring that employees understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and preventing insider threats
  • Continuous feedback loop regarding the Risk Register and covering new Risks

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:

 

Southern California $187,000 - $253,000

 

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).

 

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Data Analysis and Security Technology: Proficiency in analyzing data from various sources (DLP alerts, manual reports, etc.) and utilizing security technologies (SOAR, SIEM, DLP tools) to implement effective controls.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: A strong understanding of risk management principles and the ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with data exfiltration and insider threats. Familiarity with compliance regulations (e.g., IRC 7216) is crucial.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders, including business units, legal teams, and corporate investigations. The ability to provide coaching, training, and foster a culture of security awareness is essential.
  • Leadership and Strategic Thinking: The ability to lead a team, make informed decisions, and develop strategic recommendations for new monitoring and controls based on data analysis and observed patterns.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and address potential security threats and the ability to adapt to evolving risks and technologies.
  • Degree - BS in IT Security or Similar
