Job Overview

Intuit is seeking an experienced analytics leader to lead the Customer Success Growth and Retention analytics team within Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (QuickBooks Accounting, Payroll, Payments, Mailchimp, Intuit Enterprise Suite, etc). We have an exciting opportunity to evolve and accelerate the way we engage our customers to drive confidence, conversion, retention, and ecosystem adoption through intelligent expert and digital interactions. This role will drive critical cross-functional strategies and will partner closely with Product Managers, Customer Experience Managers, Data Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists within the Consumer Group and across platform teams. This role will also manage several small analytics teams within the organization and will be responsible for coaching both individual contributors and managers, defining team priorities, and developing the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drives strategic thinking to optimize customer success, product, and marketing efforts (inclusive of experimentation) for customer journeys, based on customer segments, lifecycle stages, and other critical customer attributes
  • Represents analytics function on cross-functional leadership teams and provides/inspires data-driven change around end-to-end customer experiences to improve customer and business outcomes
  • Develops and grows an exceptional team of data professionals, prioritizes the team’s work to maximize effectiveness and impact both at the individual and team level
  • Leads the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning
  • Coaches the team on collecting, analyzing, and modeling available data to advance the customer success analytics space and building a broad understanding of the QuickBooks customer base and their interactions with various help options
  • Pursues data quality, troubleshoots data validation, and sees issues to resolution.
  • Provides guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals
  • Carefully develops managers and team members in the craft of data analytics to provide both career growth and real business impact through strategic partnerships within Customer Success functions

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in web, product, marketing, customer success, or other related analytics fields. Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
  • 3-5 years' experience managing data analysts and data professionals with a proven track record of building high-performing data teams and developing successful data professionals
  • Experience with participating in, and leading the data components of cross-functional leadership teams
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel, with expertise in modern advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python a plus
  • A great storyteller and communicator and can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end and drive organizational change via both clarity of strategy and executional rigor
  • MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent experience is preferred

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $183,500 - 248,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
