If you’re passionate about transforming people's lives and building platforms at scale, we would love to have you join our team as a Principal Product Manager for the Intuit Identity Platform. As a product manager driving the Authentication capability, you will empower all Intuit users to easily yet securely access their accounts and safeguard sensitive workflows. We are looking for creative candidates who love solving complex problems by delving into user experience data, translating real-life workflows, and defining high scale services. Our team thrives on collaboration and we're looking for team members with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, and creative grit, as well as a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the vision and strategy for the Intuit Identity Authentication capability.
- Provide product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand business goals, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal user experiences and scalable services.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions.
- Take a data driven approach in defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plan, progress and success
- Experimenting with data to influence business outcomes.
- Drive the roadmap and execution from MVP to significant scale.
- Partner with program management to nail project execution and delivery by managing dependencies and plans across different services and teams.
- Work closely with the different Intuit business offering teams to understand the requirements, priorities, and drive to a common goal.
- Spend time with end-users to understand their pain points, gather insights on how we can solve some of those big customer problems in a delightful way.
- Represent the team in presentations, meetings, customer and partner events internally and externally.
Qualifications
- 10+ years designing and delivering world-class platform products in a Product Management role, especially identity systems
- Strong understanding of identity, authentication and security concepts including federated identity, single sign on, multi-factor authentication, ID proofing and industry standards such as OpenID Connect/OAuth, FIDO, and NIST 800-63 security frameworks
- Track record in defining and delivering awesome products solving big customer needs.
- Previous experience managing a team and coaching individuals to do their best work.
- Demonstrable technical depth in SaaS software development - i.e. reading code, architecture and design discussions - with strong engagement with engineering and architecture teams
- Demonstrated success in taking data driven approach and delivering impactful business results
- Demonstrated proficiency in program/project management, and success in managing complex program/project deliverables cross multiple teams
- Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap
- Proven experience in defining big visions and inspiring teams to deliver new innovations and impactful products
- Track record of working closely with customers, partners, listening and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer
- Excellent collaboration skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations
- Inspiring communication skills - for small teams to executives and larger groups as well
- BS or technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $213,500 - 288,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
