Job Overview

The Intuit Global Business Services (GBS) organization is responsible for the purchasing of goods & services, negotiating contracts, and paying our suppliers to enable Intuit to Power Prosperity Around the World. GBS’s PMO as a Principal Program Manager. Partner closely with the tech and finance teams to drive transformational change in this Source-to-Report space through technology implementations and enhancements in support of employees and suppliers.

Are you an established Program Manager with a passion for high-impact projects in the back office finance or software space? Join GBS’s PMO Technology & Portfolio Management team as a Principal Program Manager. The individual in this role will need to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout Finance and Intuit and work as a team player. This role will be critical to ensure the success of the projects that span technology, both implementations and driving enhancements, as well as process improvements. We are looking for a candidate who has a proven record of leading back off finance SaaS deployments, such as Coupa, Concur, or Oracle eBiz.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams through large-scale and complex projects to meet milestones on time and within budget
  • Manage a combination of large and small projects from planning through delivery, directing the project team through day-to-day tasks & deliverables, and influencing stakeholders
  • Expertly prioritize within a portfolio or a large-scale, complex project to accelerate delivery of the business outcomes
  • Create an environment of rigor and attention to detail that enables teams to collaborate with clarity on accountability, outcomes and success measures
  • Clearly communicate program progress, trends, insights and predicted performance to stakeholders with a clear narrative on the need for strategic changes and adjustments to plan
  • Nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, building your brand as a trusted thought partner
  • Identify opportunities to streamline how GBS PMO operates with efficiency. Independently develop a plan to test, implementation and teach others
  • Own Project / Program specific OpMechs and processes and influence
  • Maintain a rigorous, organized, and detailed project plan with regular communication on status, risks, and escalations to stakeholders
  • Direct and provide support, direction, and functional or technical expertise to the project team
  • Both leverage existing and contribute to improving project/program framework best practices, tools, and templates

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years in Project/Program Management at a technology company, with experience managing multiple concurrent complex and large application implementations
  • Must have: Experience with backend finance systems in the Source-to-Report space such as Coupa, Oracle eBiz (iProcurement), or Concur
  • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • Experience in (Lean) Six Sigma or Design 4 Delight methodologies
  • Experience building Project Management processes & templates to standardize best practices across tools such as JIRA, Google Suite, and Smartsheet
  • Experienced leader who defines the strategy and drives outcomes for a portfolio of programs or a large-scale, complex project/program/process across multiple organizations
  • Influential and boundaryless change leader who generates support with a well-established and trusted network
  • Quickly ramp up knowledge in new domains, draw learnings from experience and anticipate solutions to problems
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to establish guidelines in these areas for others
  • Ability to develop & execute a successful project/program roadmap, anticipate challenges & proactively head off obstacles
  • Excellent communication skills across a variety of audiences including: technical, non-technical, and senior leadership

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $166,500-225,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
