Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and analytically driven Principal, Strategic Business Insights to lead high-impact initiatives across the Consumer Platform organization. You will serve as a thought leader, framing complex business questions and synthesizing data into compelling narratives that frame, influence and drive business decision making across the Consumer Platform organization. This senior-level Business Operations role will partner with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership and teams spanning Product Management, Product Development, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Customer Success, Design, Technical Program Management, as well as across the Technology Ecosystem, to deliver actionable insights, accelerate business decision making, help inform business strategy, assist with planning and resourcing, and drive operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic insights and initiatives across functional Consumer Platform teams.
  • Design and manage complex data-driven analyses supporting annual and in-year planning that leverage data related to customer needs, product performance, pricing, retention, and market trends to generate business insights to support business decision making at all levels of the organization.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that drive growth, efficiency, and customer value.
  • Collaborate closely with the analytics teams to develop reporting and dashboards to support senior leadership decision making as part of the Consumer Platform operating system, such as annual and in-year planning, in-season tax season operations, business reviews, and ongoing strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data strategy.
  • Proven track record of applying data to drive strategic decisions and influence senior executives.
  • Experience with KPI design, performance tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect analysis to strategy and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working independently on ambiguous problems with minimal direction.
  • Passion for high-quality work and a mindset of ownership and continuous improvement.
