Job Overview

At Intuit, we believe in the power of storytelling to create meaningful connections and lasting impact. We're looking for an experienced storyteller to join our growing team. As part of the Intuit Customer Success and Virtual Expert Platform (VEP), you'll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to conceptualize and create compelling stories that influence and inspire.

VEP is the platform that drives AI-powered digital expertise and AI-assisted human expertise for all Intuit customers. Our capabilities are central to Intuit's Big Bet 2 (connect people to experts) and essential to delivering services across Intuit including TurboTax Live, TurboTax FullService, and QuickBooks Live.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and stakeholder management: As the Storytelling Team Lead, you'll focus on delivering high-quality output and streamlining processes. Your coordinate kick-offs, check-ins, and communicate with clarity and confidence.
  • Strategic collaboration and storytelling: You’ll partner with motion graphics and audio-visual designers to design storyboards, concepts, and scripts for compelling presentations and demos. Use your storytelling and writing skills to craft narratives that engage and inspire ‌diverse audiences, while aligning with Intuit's strategic goals
  • Production oversight: Be the main point of contact for new production requests and evaluate effort, timelines, and deliverables to make sure everything is top-notch and meets deadlines. Manage the entire production process, from kick-off to delivery, and make sure it aligns with our brand standards
  • Independent and proactive leadership: Thrives as a self-starter who independently drives projects from conception to completion, while effectively bringing team members and stakeholders along the journey, ensuring collaborative success and shared vision

Qualifications

  • A world-class copywriting portfolio that highlights your talent and expertise for copywriting and creative ideas, ideally within an agency environment or in-house at a tech company
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • An audience-first approach to your writing. We’re customer obsessed and use direct customer interviews to fall in love with our customers’ stories to inspire our creativity
  • Strong initiative as a self-starter with the ability to independently manage multiple projects while also bringing the team along the journey
  • An understanding of how to write within a brand's voice while bringing fresh, creative thinking to flex and push boundaries when appropriate
  • 5+ years experience as a copywriter with a focus on writing copy for scripts, presentations, and video demos
