Job Overview
Intuit’s Consumer Group’s CRM team is looking for an experienced engagement marketing leader managing email marketing in support of the TurboTax business. The Senior Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for running campaigns essential to achieving the organization’s retention goals and delivering personalized experiences to our customer base.
You are an expert email marketer who can combine technology and creative marketing to make transformative ideas come to life. You manage and develop a high performing team, creating campaigns that inspire and educate our customers throughout the tax season lifecycle while sharing our message of powering prosperity.
Responsibilities
- Own the management of the TurboTax email program dedicated to driving transactions in product during tax season, delivering flawless execution on a complex program on one of the largest installed bases in the US, and spearheading innovation around personalization.
- Lead the effort to deliver superlative campaigns to customers, ensuring compelling story-telling, relevant content and best-in-class creative are present throughout our communications.
- Deliver on the vision to implement truly 1:1 campaigns to our various customer base through personalized messaging, offers, content and more.
- Lead a team of 3-4 marketers, developing a best in class and efficient CRM marketing team. Effectively manage the team with responsibilities including project prioritization, campaign planning and development, process improvement and workload management.
- Help define channel contact strategy, maintaining calendars and defining governance protocols.
- Articulate complex campaign requirements, closely partnering with CRM data and operations teams to ensure their proper implementation. Understand the technical side of email operations from how customer data attributes flow from data systems into the ESPs for campaign retrieval to ESP set up and implementation to dynamic content execution.
- Partner with Strategy partners to help devise, implement and measure complex test plans.
- Report on channel performance, partnering with Analytics as needed, and share actionable insights at different levels of the organization (leadership to business stakeholders). Understand key campaign, channel and customer level metrics and how to take CRM data to drive performance.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years experience managing an elaborate email marketing program for a Fortune 500 company
- Impeccable knowledge of email marketing best practices, especially around creative and story-telling.
- Passion for creative, copy and campaign development and deep-bench experience working with creative teams.
- Keen understanding of the data undergirding CRM programs and enabling campaign orchestration and personalization.
- Superior organizational, project management and communication skills -- this role requires hands-on management of campaign deployments, often under tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Experience with Enterprise-level marketing cloud solutions and CRM tech stack.
- Strong analytical and data manipulations skills that result in meaningful insights and that drive performance
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $159,00-215,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
