Job Overview

Come join an incredible marketing team at Intuit as a Staff Marketing Operations Manager, Data Operations in the Consumer Group (part of the TurboTax organization). You will be a key member of the Platform Marketing Operations team responsible for E2E process and implementation of data discovery, onboarding and quality scaling personalization for marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities will be onboarding of data to activation platforms, creation and delivery of digital audiences using 1st/2nd/3rd party data, multi-channel journey orchestration, client- and server-side data collection/orchestration, and management of analytics & insights technologies, while continuously improving quality & speed.

Responsibilities

Access to data is critical to delivering and scaling personalization for marketing campaigns. Data Catalysts will use their robust technical and data skills, knowledge of Intuit’s products and data producers, business and analytical acumen to deliver attribute clarity and availability, improved campaign delivery and reduced dependency on product managers and product developers. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead translation of marketing use cases to technical data requirements to enable data ingestion process (domain source → marketing systems/platforms)
  • Identify data sources with entity stewards for consumption, accuracy and cleanliness. Includes creating SQL data queries based on requirements to enable shovel ready onboarding
  • Ensure clarity on data derivation based off source and use cases coordinating across engineering teams to ensure SLA’s and requirements are met
  • Manage data onboarding ingestion process and self-serve data ingestion across multiple pipelines and engineering teams to enable audience creation for personalization campaigns
  • Own data validation including monitoring data pipelines, data freshness and consistency for marketing campaigns and targeting
  • Improve Operational Excellence by establishing runbooks and documentation sharing best practices with partners to multiply data literacy

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years professional experience working with marketing data, onboarding/transformation data, managing movement of marketing data, marketing analytics (technical data analytics experience a plus)
  • Must have experience in SQL working with JSON files and data
  • Additional expertise in marketing technologies such as: Adobe suite (big plus), customer data platforms, CRM automation platforms, data management platforms, advertising media (eg Google and Facebook)
  • Preferred JIRA management
  • Excellent communicator capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise matter, raising risks to senior management and broader org
  • High caliber of operations to create world-class velocity solving problems and customer issues as they arise managing processes and solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $155,000-209,500, Southern California $153,500-207,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
