Intuit is taking a thoughtful approach to the future of work for our employees. We are reimagining how our nearly 17,000 employees interface with our Global Business Services (GBS) team, to turn administrative tasks into employee delighters through delivering AI-driven and automated solutions. In this role you will directly contribute to this effort by managing our GenAI and automation programs and projects aimed at simplifying everyday tasks, so our employees can focus more of their time on helping our customers.
As a Senior Program Manager for GBS, you will be responsible for driving multi-year and cross-functional initiatives in support of GBS input goals and program maturity, from requirements to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects, as well as a deep understanding of program management methodologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-year, cross-functional projects across multiple areas to to deliver GenAI and automation-related solutions
- Develop and execute project plans, including defining scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Drive requirements gathering and assist in design that will leverage AI and automation capabilities to create solutions for improving operational efficiency and driving business innovation
- Manage program stakeholders, including third-party input providers, internal team members, and senior management
- Track program progress and report on status to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate program risks
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Adhere to all project and program management methodologies and best practices
- Ensures that a new solution delivers on time with high quality and in accordance with the strategy and delivery of the overall program
- Establish metrics to monitor program health and improvements, and provide management with status reports and feedback
- Create risk analysis and management plans, cost-benefit analysis, and alternative approaches at the multi-program level
- Provide analytics and insights, through dashboard monitoring and tracking, that identify program opportunities, potential exposure, and improvements to the GenAI and automation-related programs
- Lead change, envision the future, and generate transformational strategies in support of the GenAI and automation-related programs
- Provide input on multi-year, multi-group, cross-program strategy and roadmaps, and guide teams to new ways to resolve problems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, program management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least 7 years of experience in program management, with a focus on multi-year, cross-functional projects. Experience in project managing AI and automation technologies, and certification in Project Management and Lean Six Sigma preferred (e.g., PMP, Agile, 6S Black Belt).
- Proficient in using Smartsheet, Google Suite, and Confluence to manage projects and reporting
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with interacting and working with senior management and executives on a regular basis
- Deep understanding in AI and automation tools and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $149,000-201,500, Southern California $137,500-186,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
