Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic National Sales/lead Manager to lead our team of regional sales leaders across the country as the front line, first point of human contact for customers seeking to connect with the Intuit Expert Network and TurboTax products. This pivotal role is responsible for driving nationwide conversion of leads, enhancing lead nurturing processes, and maintaining superior customer relationships in partnership with Customer Success and the Intuit Expert Network. The ideal candidate will have an impressive track record in sales leadership in a services industry and a deep understanding of the complexities of managing operations at a local, regional and national level.  We expect this role to be directly and indirectly responsible for a sales/leads team with over 100 members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales/lead nurture strategy to achieve and exceed conversion targets and expand our customer base.
  • Evaluate and onboard an external outsourcing partner for inbound lead capture and outbound lead nurture across a variety of contact methods including calls, chat, email and in-person.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to regional sales managers, ensuring they are aligned with national sales objectives and are effectively managing their teams both internally and externally with the outsource partner.
  • Establish definitions and measurement plans for key performance metrics and thresholds to monitor national and regional lead conversion and to judge success, performance and compensation targets.
  • Drive the lead nurturing process across all regions, ensuring that leads are effectively converted into long-term customers and initiating adjustments to strategies and tactics in response to market dynamics and opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement among regional sales leaders, encouraging the sharing of insights and successful sales practices.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that sales strategies and promotional activities are tightly aligned, and that messaging is consistent across all regions.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer feedback and sales patterns to anticipate consumer needs, adjust sales strategies, and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports for senior management on sales results, market conditions, and any challenges faced by the sales teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and company policies throughout the sales operations.

 

 

 

 

 

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $189,500 - 256,000, and Southern California $175,000 - 236,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving significant sales growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multi-regional sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to setup and operate sales tech systems associated with sales conversion funnel with precision and rigor
  • Analytical mindset with experience in using CRM and sales analysis tools to enhance decision-making and sales effectiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies in response to changing market conditions.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required to support regional teams and visiting our locations.
