Job Overview
Come join the Mid-Market Sales team as a front line leader within the Presales Sales Engineering team. We are not your typical sales organization. The solutions we present are backed by collaborative cross-functional teams.This is a newly created leadership role to help manage our rapidly growing SE organization. You will report to, and partnerly closely with the Sr. Manager of this team to help build our future vision. Employee coaching and development, process improvements, and cross-functional relationships will be key areas of focus.The Mid-Market Sales Team consists of highly professional and passionate salespeople focused on delivering world class solutions to our customers. The Sales Engineer Manager is responsible for partnering with sales leaders and their teams to ensure the Sales Engineer and Account Manager partnerships are impactful and driving outcomes for our customers.You will be an advocate for your team, helping remove barriers, focusing on continued employee development, and ensuring your team has the support and resources needed to be successful.
Responsibilities
● Coach, develop, and provide regular feedback to employees to maximize impact.● Create a vision for your team in service to driving Mid-Market outcomes.● Establish meeting prioritization for the team, implement processes where needed and keep daily operating rhythms well organized.● Help the team prioritize time and effort and ensure they have a clear understanding of what success looks like and how to get there.● Help remove barriers, acting as an escalation point where needed.● Serve as the voice of your team and deliver insights to cross-functional partners to help optimize relationships and outcomes.● Collaborate across Intuit to share insights, provide recommendations and learn best practices drive growth and implement process improvement.● Lead through change and help the team respond by adapting as needed.● Anticipate needs of the business to proactively plan and stay one step ahead.Qualifications
● 5+ years of leadership experience in a SaaS B2B sales organization.● Proven ability to coach and mentor those around you.● Accounting industry experience, sales process and Mid-Market expertise is a plus.● High degree of professionalism, emotional intelligence and empathy.● Excellent communicator, experience in learning styles, self-managed.● Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology.● Unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and able to work through ambiguity.● High level of accountability and follow through, keeping an ‘owner’s mindset.● Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.Related Content
