Job Overview

As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for creating a high-performing sales culture that consistently exceeds the expectations of Intuit’s True North goals. You will work closely with the Senior Sales Leadership Team and your reporting teams to retain customers while driving revenue growth through the adoption of new products.

Inbound Sales is a multi-channel organization focused on building customer confidence by providing expertise to Small and Medium-sized Businesses in every interaction. Our Sales Managers are expected to have excellent people development skills, think analytically, and balance both short and long-term outcomes – all while being effective communicators to influence strategy. Across all our channels and workgroups, Inside Sales is responsible for acquiring new customers and growing our existing customers’ usage of the Intuit ecosystem of products.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management: Oversee both the Vendor Sales Teams and the Lead Qualifying Teams, ensuring they align with the company’s sales strategies and targets.
  • Accountability for Sales Metrics: Take responsibility for sales dollars and unit targets, analyze trends using performance metrics, identify root causes, and formulate strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Cultural and Structural Development: Create a team environment that promotes learning, innovation, and excellence.
  • Sales Expertise and Instruction: Demonstrate a deep commitment to the art of sales with proficiency in teaching and coaching related methodologies.
  • Leadership Communication: Prepare and present updates, project results, and strategic insights at meetings with senior leadership and departments like Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
  • Strategic Development for Customer Experience: Design and implement strategies that enhance customer experience, increase conversion and close rates, and optimize sales consultant performance.
  • Program Management and Sales Strategy Implementation: Contribute to the development and deployment of the company's sales strategy as a key member of the sales leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager (minimum 3 years), with a strong background in managing offshore/remote teams preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams that consistently deliver for all stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering across functions to lead new initiatives in service of delivering business results.
  • A passionate and skilled communicator who can articulate the Intuit vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm, and a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative culture that places a premium on consistently performing at the highest level in an extremely fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong presence and credibility with a reputation for unquestioned integrity and management skills that allow for instant credibility with employees, customers, and shareholders.
  • A proven motivator of people with undeniable experience in rallying teams. Not afraid to roll up sleeves and get ingrained in the work.
