Position Overview:

As a Co-op in Paid Search, you will work closely with the performance marketing team to optimize and manage our paid search campaigns across various platforms. You will be responsible for assisting in creating, executing, and monitoring paid search strategies that drive traffic, increase conversions, and achieve overall business objectives. This co-op position offers invaluable learning opportunities, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to a wide range of digital marketing techniques.

Please note the role is a hybrid role, and the candidate is expected to be in office twice/week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand business goals and campaign objectives.
  • Assist in keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential search terms and trends.
  • Support the creation of compelling ad copy and ad extensions to improve click-through rates and quality scores.
  • Help set up and manage paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other relevant advertising platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and suggestions for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance and present findings to the marketing team

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or postgraduate program in a related field and be able to work from September 2023 - December 2023
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, specifically paid search and online advertising
  • Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other PPC platforms is a plus
  • Analytical mindset and comfort with working with data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
