Job Overview

We are seeking a highly self-motivated, data-driven, and detail-oriented individual to join our Sales Operations team, supporting Mid-Market Sales. The team enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of our Mid-Market sales organization by managing and analyzing sales performance data, optimizing sales processes, and developing strategic action plans that boost business outcomes. This role partners deeply with and acts as a trusted advisor to our Mid-Market Sales leaders, has a strong pulse on the team’s needs and business opportunities, and plays a critical role in generating reports and insights that guide management decisions. 

This position requires a strong background in Analytics and Sales Operations, as well as the ability to drive in-depth reporting, analysis and complex, cross-functional projects from concept to execution. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Mid-Market Sales Business Rhythm (pipeline mgt, forecasting etc.), providing visibility into overall sales performance, running analytical deep dives, and driving accountability across teams to move the needle on our most critical business outcome metrics. 

As a result, this role requires a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, operating independently, and generating creative data insights that help move the business forward. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, can identify meaningful opportunities to improve sales performance and has the ability to translate findings into concrete initiatives. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where they can adapt, prioritize, and execute with operational rigor.

You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams in Sales, Product, and Analytics. This role requires end-to-end ownership of our Sales Performance Mgt. domain, either by leading initiatives directly or by influencing outcomes through others. Your strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills will help you succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance sales performance through data analysis and reporting
  • Manage the overall business rhythm calendar, meetings & content
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
  • Oversee the effective use of pipeline management & sales forecasts to enable strategic planning and decision making
  • Continuously analyze sales performance data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement
  • Define action plans to boost sales performance and oversee the cross-functional execution of said plans 
  • Identify and execute analytical deep dives
  • Analyze and continuously improve our foundational reporting, drive KPI development and reporting requirements
  • Work with our technical teams to drive automation through our BI dashboards
  • Act as the trusted advisor to our sales leadership team and operate as an expert that deeply understands our business levers, how and when to activate them
  • Support annual planning and quarterly target setting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a numerate or business related subject (Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
  • 7+ years of Sales Operations/ Sales Analytics experience
  • Extensive experience analyzing and improving sales performance management, with the ability to translate business insights into actionable priorities
  • Strong bias towards action with proven track record rallying cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Analytics, Marketing etc.) to turn insights into actionable plans that boost business outcomes
  • Several years of hands-on experience & advanced proficiency in Excel & SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Dash)
  • Extensive experience preparing and leading standard business rhythm meetings 
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, particularly in the context of trusted relationships with Sales executives
  • Experience preparing C-level executive updates on sales performance 
  • Ability to communicate data insights effectively and create compelling presentations for executives
  • Experience with CRM & Sales Performance Mgt systems (e.g. Salesforce, Gong etc.)
  • Experience in designing, building & collaborating on best-in-class reporting dashboards, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $206,500 - 279,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
