Staff Program Manager- Intuit for Education

Job Overview
The Staff Program Manager will be a crucial member of the Student Programs team, focusing on program management of Intuit’s large-scale national programs and challenges, primarily Hour of Finance (HoF). This includes developing and managing all programmatic components, taking the lead on program strategy development and executing program strategy to engage students nationally, consistently finding ways to grow the reach and impact of our program to more students annually, and getting buy-in from cross-functional teams across marketing, product, engineering and legal to move work forward. This role requires strong project and program-management skills, the ability to manage end to end logistics and execution of large scale programs as well as ensuring simultaneous program engagements are delivered with excellence. It also requires bold thinking about how to best engage school districts and students in our financial literacy programs, Intuit for Education.
This role will prepare and deliver regular program reports and executive summaries to key stakeholders and leadership, track and manage success metrics, and summarize key information, insights, and recommendations towards developing the overall program strategy for the current fiscal year and beyond. The role is cross-functional and involves close collaboration with multiple teams and external vendors to ensure seamless program management and execution.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing an end to end program vision and strategy to ensure student programs, and specifically Hour of Finance, are set up for long-term success
- Project management, including building and managing project plans, leading team meetings and maintaining program artifacts and resources to help efficiently manage the program
- Leveraging your expertise in education (K12 or Higher Ed) and bold thinking to support program implementation and long-term expansion and growth.
- Partnering with internal and external teams such as legal, marketing, brand, comms, business partners, and product to develop and execute programs.
- Collect and disseminate impact stories to support Intuit’s storytelling efforts, collaborating with marketing, comms and social
- Managing a team of contractors to ensure program scale does not compromise quality as additional schools and students participate in our annual and ongoing challenges and competitions.
- Tracking impact data across the program, developing monthly, quarterly and year end reports for public dissemination and working with analytics to drive measurement strategy
- Manage external vendors to execute program events, curriculum development and food truck procurement
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California 149,000-201,500
Southern California 137,500-186,000
Colorado: 122,000-165,000
New York: 128,500-173,500
Washington: 128,500-173,500
Washington DC: 122,000-165,500This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of how to envision, scale and manage national programs to accelerate student reach and impact.
- Strong project and program management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple programs with competing deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing circumstances as needed.
- Passion for financial literacy and K12 or higher education is a plus.
- Ability to travel ~25% annually
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, remote team environment.
- Demonstrated excellence in program and project management, especially in a corporate work environment with large cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of experience in developing and managing educational programs, with a particular focus on K12 education or higher education a plus.
- Project-management software experience strongly preferred
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $151,000 - $204,000, Colorado $122,000 - $165,000, Bay Area California $149,000-201,500, Southern California $137,500-186,000, Washington $128,500 - $173,500, Washington D.C. $122,000 - $165,500, Massachusetts $128,500 - $173,500.
