Role Overview:
Intuit’s goal is to grow transformational leaders who lead with a clear vision, build a high-performance culture and drive winning results. This role will be responsible for developing 500+ Executives, which includes all Director+ globally using the Intuit Leadership Playbook as the foundation for developing and delivering leadership experiences to build capability and drive business results. As an end-to-end thinker, this role will lead all aspects of executive development from understanding the business expectations of our leaders, diagnosing the capability gaps, developing programs and resources for Directors, Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents and supporting leaders in adopting new behaviors to achieve their goals. This role includes building Executive Development experiences and tools and frameworks to support Onboarding, Succession Planning, Coaching and Leadership Assessment. Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders, the HR leadership team, and HR Business Partners to use data and customer input to diagnose and define the specific skills and capabilities required of executives to drive transformational results.
- Establish short- and long-term leadership development strategies based on Intuit’s strategic business priorities and prioritize the most critical growth opportunities for our leaders.
- Define goals that will drive comprehensive leadership development globally and across a diverse group of businesses with measurable outcomes.
- Design and deliver highly effective and inclusive leadership experiences, with close alignment to the business, that elevates leadership capability and organizational performance. Solutions include onboarding, formal learning programs, experiential learning, assessments and coaching.
- Develop and implement experiences with leaders as teachers to role model the behaviors that are expected and inspire change at scale.
- Create and implement measurement strategies for Executive Development outcomes aligned to key people metrics
- Develop and evolve our external and internal executive coaching with clear criteria and expectations for engagement and outcomes.
- Establish a cadence to collect voice of executives at all levels and their manager to deeply understand their business and leadership challenges to integrate learnings into solution design.
- Partner with HRBPs to build leadership bench strength at VP+ across the company to support equitable growth and development for top talent in service to succession planning.
- Utilize technology to develop Executives at scale in a hybrid work environment with a mix of self-directed, virtual instructor led, and in-person experiences to build leadership and strengthen cross-functional relationships.
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of 5 Executive Development professionals and key internal and external partners deliver solutions.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California $255,000-344,500
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in building and scaling management and leadership development programs enterprise-wide
- Extensive knowledge of Leadership and Executive development including design and delivery of leadership development strategies and programs
- Successfully driven development programs at scale globally
- Experience utilizing different types of learning based on the situation including in-person, self-directed online learning, just-in-time/micro-learning and blended learning strategies
- Experience in establishing and delivering learning evaluation and metrics
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of industry trends and the latest research, and a thought leader in leadership development.
- Proven ability to build business acumen and use that acumen in designing leadership experiences to achieve business results.
- Strategic thinker who also exhibits operational excellence when executing experiences at scale
- Has a practical and collaborative approach to design and implementation, consistently focused on application over theory
- Experience in working with C-level executives and their leadership teams in a collaborative way to diagnose and understand leadership performance gaps and how to address them at scale
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills
- Energized to lead the work and the team with velocity in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality programs and tactical execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
- Masters in Learning, Organizational Development, Industrial / Organizational Psychology or HR management is a plus
