Job Overview

Intuit’s Finance team has overarching responsibility for Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Accounting, Assurance, Procurement, and Business Operations. The Intuit Business Operations team’s charter spans the whole company and the team is responsible for the company’s 3&1 Year Planning Process, key operating mechanisms like the Operations and Input Goal Review (OIGR), dashboards providing visibility to progress against the company’s Input Goals and Outcome Metrics, In Year Planning (including dependency management), and business operations for Finance. 

Reporting to our VP of Intuit Business Operations, the Director, In Year Planning & Execution Velocity plays a critical role in the company’s planning and dependency management approach (across Tech, Go-to-Market, Sales, and Customer Success). The mission of this role is to make execution a superpower for Intuit.

This leader will partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Technology Program Management, and Business Operations teams across the company. Additionally, this role is a driver in the FY26 Input Goal Tech-05, which includes operationalizing 6 quarter roadmaps, diagnosing and working to solve dependencies at root, and improving the resourcing and dependency management tooling.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects, with a passion for the data and tools to support innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Core owner of Resource Planning at Intuit: Own reinvention of the resource planning approach used during 3 & 1 Year Planning, in close partnership with Tech Program Management and Technology Finance.This includes process design, milestones / timeline, and tooling requirements.
  • In Year Planning: Drive and own the In Year Planning process for dependency management, including defining the approach and roadmap, co-designing the tooling needed, training the organization to participate, and driving greater agility in resourcing in-year. Responsible for successful change management of near term changes and understanding/acceptance of roadmap direction with internal customers.
  • Tooling & Change Planning: Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture to define the end-to-end tooling that supports teams’ ability to plan execution, navigate dependencies, and drive changes to those tools and processes successfully.
  • Reimagination: As a core member of the Intuit Business Operations leadership team, this role plays an important role in defining how we reinvent planning and execution at Intuit to drive velocity, increase leader accountability, and realization of planned business outcomes.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of almost 10. Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture leadership to lead the cross-functional team to end-to-end outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience: 

  • 15+ years of progressive work experience in the areas of Strategy and Transformation, or Business Operations
  • Currency in understanding modern planning systems, tools, and processes, along with experience working in a software or other high-tech company.
  • Familiarity with agile development, product roadmaps, and technology delivered through a platform architecture. Willingness to learn from and partner closely with subject matter experts in these domains.
  • Demonstrated prior experience successfully leading near and long term planning initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading direct and cross functional teams through complex change management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence and continuous improvement approach.
  • Comfort and curiosity with evolving artificial intelligence technologies and how their capabilities can be utilized in service to execution velocity and excellence
  • Experience leading and developing people managers
