Job Overview

At Intuit, we are developing and delivering best-in-class environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives that elevate the company’s position as an industry ESG leader. As a member of the ESG Strategy and Reporting team within the Finance organization, the Lead ESG Analyst is a key contributor in the evolution and execution of that strategy.

Reporting to and partnering with the Director, ESG Strategy & Reporting, this newly-created position requires a professional who is knowledgeable about a broad range of ESG topics and capable of driving various initiatives within an organization, focused on two key areas: the communication of Intuit’s ESG plans, programs and progress; and, the design and deployment of new approaches to collecting data and disclosures.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator, with experience engaging various corporate functions and diverse stakeholders; a strategic thinker, highly organized and efficient with strong project management skills and have a zest for tracking changing regulations, trends and best-practices in this evolving field. As a courageous individual contributor, you are collaborative and able to work with, educate and influence stakeholders; you will foster relationships across the organization and liaise with leaders and subject experts responsible for ESG policies, strategy, and programs.

  • Strong analytical skills and technical acumen.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of evolving regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and experience engaging with various external stakeholders on ESG issues.
  • Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and develop long-term plans to achieve business and sustainability outcomes.
  • Able to inspire trust, clarity, and consensus within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Experience with the assurance of ESG disclosures a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage and drive Intuit’s annual Corporate Responsibility report in close collaboration with Communications, Marketing, Corporate Responsibility, People & Places DEI team, Sustainability, Investor Relations, Audit and Legal.
  • Facilitate the ESG data / disclosure strategy and processes. You will co-create and implement processes and internal controls to ensure proper data collection and governance; continuously assess and enhance the relevance, volume and quality of our disclosures; co-create and deliver training to numerous stakeholders; consolidate and analyze business unit data for company-wide ESG reporting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and respond to various requests for information from investors and other stakeholders regarding our ESG performance.

Align Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and teams towards a clearer vision of what ESG means and should mean for the company in the future.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes (US SEC, California, CSRD, and/or ISSB) and industry trends related to ESG reporting, including mandatory reporting, communicate information to relevant stakeholders, and integrate new requirements into reporting processes, in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and other functions.
