Job Overview

Intuit SBSEG Data and Analytics has an exciting opportunity to be part of the fast-growing Mid-market Analytics team that plays a critical role in driving growth in Mid-market with a long-term winning strategy. Disrupt the small business mid-market is one of Intuit’s 5 Big Bets initiatives.

The Mid-market Analytics team is responsible for (1) providing valuable insights that supports the development of E2E strategy, operational plans and product roadmaps, (2) providing data/tools/actionable insights/experimentation for the execution of multiple Mid-market priorities across our function domains (Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance), developing/managing the success KPIs and reporting as the single source of the truth for how the mid-market business is doing.

We are looking for a Manager 3, Data Science, who is intellectually curious and extremely self-driven, with a proven track record of leading analytics support for a critical or high-growth business areas. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for building and developing a high-performing Data Science team, while demonstrating a forward-looking, strategic and extreme ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a high-performing Data Science team.
  • Influence strategic business decisions and operational decisions by conducting customer segmentation and profiling, product analytics, sales funnel analysis, sales win/loss analysis, voice of customer analysis, etc.
  • Develop and manage key success metrics and leading indicators for providing holistic understanding of how the business is performing and whether each initiative/program is delivering the desired outcomes.
  • Proactive explore and identify new business opportunities to help business partners to achieve business goals.
  • Communicate data and insights effectively to business partners of all levels including senior leadership team.
  • Collaborate with other analytics teams and data engineers to work on cross-functional projects or develop analytics/AI capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in analytics or Data Science area
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a team of 7+ data scientists/analysts.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik.
  • Multiple years of experience in applying advanced analytics techniques such as python, ML models, LLM, etc., is highly preferred.
  • Ability to create analytical framework for solving complex business problems with proven track record.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives.
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical. Be able to communicate effectively with senior executives.
  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $226,500.00 - 306,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
