Job Overview
Come join the Small Business Group Product Development (SBG PD) Program Management Office as a Manager 3, Technical Program Manager (TPM). In this role, you will be a strategic program leader responsible for driving portfolio-level impact, accelerating delivery of Intuit’s most critical initiatives, and shaping the future of our Business Platform Services and AI portfolio.
We are looking for boundaryless leaders and creative technical problem solvers with strong program management expertise, deep technical understanding, customer empathy, and a track record of connecting strategy to execution. Ideal candidates inspire teams and stakeholders through influence, steward transformational change, and drive continuous improvement to enable velocity and platform scale.
As a Manager 3 TPM, you will help deliver breakthrough AI-native experiences and platform capabilities that transform the lives of small businesses and accountants worldwide, by providing strategic leadership, driving cross-functional operational rigor, and establishing reusable frameworks and best practices to deliver technical programs with speed and agility.

Qualifications
- Proven Leadership:
- 12+ years of experience building, leading and delivering complex, large-scale technical programs within a matrixed organization.
- 5+ years specifically managing and developing technical program managers and/or leading engineering teams
- Coaching and Mentoring: Experience in developing your team by providing proactive coaching to team members, creating career growth plans and providing stretch opportunities.
- Performance Management: Experience setting clear performance expectations through goal-setting and regular check-ins, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle, with experience applying Agile methodologies. Applies AI tools not only for productivity but as augmentation across program workflows—automating coordination, accelerating velocity, and enabling breakthrough, AI-native solutions.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to stay attuned to external industry trends, bring outside learnings in, understand Intuit's strategy, and make data-driven decisions that accelerate business outcomes.
- Exceptional Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate vision, strategy, priorities and expectations to teams and stakeholders. Active listening is essential.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to gather, analyze, and utilize data to assess program progress, proactively call out risks, identify tradeoffs and drive data-backed decisions at scale.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. PMP, Agile certifications or equivalent demonstrated practical technical program management experience is desired.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $218500-295500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
