Intuit is actively seeking a leader with both a strong strategic mind and incredible operational rigor, someone who is able to influence and navigate a highly matrixed and cross-functional organization. You love combining strategy with execution, and you roll up your sleeves to bring plans to life. You will be responsible for serving as the connective link between multiple teams required to deliver MM outcomes, breaking down silos, fostering collaboration cross-functionally and ensuring an end-to-end approach in both strategy and executional rigor across teams. 

You are a creative problem solver with a bias for action, an ability to connect the dots between various sources of information and teams, and a strong desire to drive tangible business impact. As a Principal of Strategy and Business Operations, you will work alongside senior leaders, key business strategy partners and Project managers, to ensure successful delivery of our plans.  This position requires strong strategic problem solving and communication skills, the ability to influence and develop productive partnerships at all levels of the organization, and a strong understanding of Intuit’s mission and values.

This is a role with broad exposure to many senior leaders and requires very strong organizational and program management skills, as well as clarity of communication and presentation abilities.  Candidates should also have experience developing business and/or corporate strategies and connecting those to clear implementation plans.

Structurally, this role reports to the Head of Mid-Market Business Strategy and Operations, however the successful candidate will partner with a wide range of stakeholders including the VPs of Mid-Market Product, Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role as the single threaded leader (STL) responsible for serving as the connective link between multiple GTM teams required to deliver MM outcomes.  You will break down silos, foster collaboration x-functionally and ensure an end 2 end approach in both strategy and operational rigor across teams
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of ongoing initiatives across all tracks, through a tight partnership with key Biz Ops partners (in Money, Workforce, GTM) along with the large team of PMOs helping execute this work.  
  • Conduit for leaders to help understand the status on work, risks, and critical issues, while also serving as the primary escalation point on issues/challenges that jeopardize the operation plan
  • Responsible for facilitating the sequencing and execution of key cross functional work tracks in alignment with FY25 targets, including prioritizing planned work that has yet to begin and initiating discussions and decisions on prioritizing work that has not yet moved to execution."
  • As the intake owner for new initiatives, craft the prioritization methodology and process to assess their impact on existing work streams, facilitate trade off discussions and decision making with SteerCo, and ROI analysis of value of work and resources required 
  • Responsible for revising the MM operational plan across tracks of work and managing communication with stakeholders regarding changes, such as what has changed, why it has changed, who has approved it, and what the impacts are.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ experience including roles in business operations, management consulting, or strategy in a large, matrixed environment
  • Experience leading large scale, cross-functional and complex programs in partnership with a variety of cross-functional leaders
  • Outcome-driven mindset with an ability to convert strategic plans into actions, drive projects to completion, and sweat the details to deliver outcome
  • Proven track record in developing critical processes, standard operating procedures, and communications that facilitate the health of the business.
  • Ability to leverage data, developing insight-backed hypotheses and driving learning plans to build compelling business cases
  • Ownership mindset with an ability to convert strategic plans into actions, drive projects to completion, and sweat the details to deliver the outcome
  • Experienced change agent who is able to influence and build trust across a highly cross-functional organization (peers, executives and working teams) to accelerate outcomes
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and storytelling abilities; feel very comfortable leading and facilitating workshops and monthly/quarterly business reviews with executives and teams
  • Highly self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple projects with little day to day direction
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate with team members across varying levels.
  • FinTech and/or SaaS experience a plus, but not required

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $191,000-258,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
