Job Overview

Intuit is seeking a strategic Principal to join the Office of the CFO. Reporting to the Head of the Office of the CFO, this individual will be instrumental in driving high-impact strategic projects, shaping critical communications (internal and external), and ensuring the seamless execution of the CFO's highest priorities, with direct exposure and interaction with the CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Leverage & Strategic Partnership: Provide leverage to the CFO by strategically preparing for key meetings and engagements. This involves developing comprehensive briefing materials, talking points, and historical context to ensure the CFO is always well-prepared and operates with maximum effectiveness.
  • Investor and External Narratives: Play a significant role in investor relations activities, with a focus on earnings cycles, Investor Day, and investor conferences. Collaborate on the development of compelling narratives, key messaging, and impactful presentation materials for external audiences and Board of Directors.
  • Strategic Project Leadership: Drive and oversee critical, often ambiguous, strategic projects that originate within the CFO's purview. This includes end-to-end management from scoping and research to in-depth analysis and delivering actionable recommendations on diverse, high-impact initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a central point of contact and liaison between the CFO's office and various cross-functional partners, ensuring efficient communication, strategic alignment, and execution of the CFO's directives across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic roles such as management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar leadership positions, with significant direct exposure to C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on crisp, concise, and impactful messaging, particularly for executive and external audiences.
  • Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders and effectively manage complex relationships across diverse teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of corporate finance, investor relations, and public company dynamics.
  • Energized by complex problems and ambiguity, with demonstrated experience breaking down intricate challenges into manageable parts and devising effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to multitask effectively under tight timelines and shifting priorities, with comfort flexing between analytical, strategic, and operational aspects of the job.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $204,500 - 276,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
