Principal Product Manager, Mid-Market Platform Product Strategy

Job Overview
As a Principal Product Manager on our Mid-Market Audience team, you will be on a global team focused on disrupting the small business Mid-Market, which Intuit defines as small businesses with 10-100 employees. Above all, you will champion the Mid-Market Audience. You will set a clear vision, devise product strategy, drive action on customer insights, play a leadership role in how Intuit’s platform comes together to deliver unique customer value, and operationalize a customer-first approach to release management. At this point in time, this role is an individual contributor. You will work with teams predominantly based out of Mountain View, California, and Bangalore, India, among other global locations. These teams include other Product Managers, including those directly responsible for product capability (scrum) teams. In addition, you will work with Product Design, Product Development, Marketing, Analytics & Data Science, Customer Experience & Success, Sales, and other cross-functional teams, all in the pursuit of delivering delightful experiences and innovative solutions to this Mid-Market Audience.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: set a vision and devise compelling strategy encompassing target customer persona sequencing, customer problem narrowing, competitive positioning, roadmap planning, metrics setting, and impact articulation.
- Data Insights Synthesis: leverage & synthesize data from various sources to prioritize and act on customer feedback that will most benefit the Mid-Market Audience.
- Platform Offering Leadership: identify and execute on opportunities for Intuit to bring its platform of products together to deliver unique value to the Mid-Market Audience.
- Release Management: operationalize a new customer-first approach to release management, encompassing when+how we release and what we convey to customers, starting with our Mid-Market Audience.
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of experience, including demonstrated fit at a large tech/software company.
- Comfortable working as part of a team that is geographically dispersed around the world.
- Aptitude to learn the SMB SaaS industry and Accounting domain.
- Experience in a mix of product management, product & competitive strategy, process transformation & execution, and cross-functional leadership.
- Desire to dig in on data yourself leveraging Excel and GenAI.
- Ability to apply frameworks and think critically to inform prioritization.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple, complex projects.
- Ability to lead+influence cross-functionality including building strong relationships while setting and managing to high expectations and delivering results.
- Exposure to best practices around software releases and new product launches.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $195,000 - $264,000, Colorado $169,000 - $229,000, Bay Area California $195,000 - 264,000, Southern California $188,500 - 254,500, Washington $177,500 - $240,500, Washington D.C. $182,000 - $246,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
