Principal Program Manager - People Experience
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit is driving exciting changes to transform from a tax and accounting platform into the largest global AI-driven expert platform, delivering “done for you” experiences enabled by AI with access to AI-powered human experts. We are hiring and growing world-class talent as part of our high-performance culture, and transforming at an unprecedented pace.
For our People & Places team to help lead those changes, we need to transform our voice of employee strategy and planning. It’s time to move well beyond surveys with innovative new approaches that help us deeply understand and proactively act on employee sentiment and behavioral data throughout the year. We have to apply thoughtful diagnosis, analysis and real action to what we hear and see from our employees, always connected to our company strategy and delivering a meaningful impact for our employees. This work requires building trust with employees, continuous improvement, and relentless follow through. We see incredible potential for AI to help us better understand what matters to our employees and how we improve their work environment every day. Success means that our employees make an impact for our customers, learn and grow, and feel connected.
This role will report to the Director of Performance Management & Development System on our People Experience team, which is part of Intuit’s broader People & Places organization. The role also collaborates very closely with our People Analytics, Research, and Technology team.
Responsibilities
- Transformational voice of employee (VOE) strategy: Develop and maintain a 12-18 month VOE strategy and plan for the company (design, execution, and action planning) aligned to the company’s transformation and growth.
- VOE as a program: Drive VOE work as an end-to-end year-round program, integrated with the company’s biannual employee pulse survey and other VOE-related work. Create playbooks and run the operating rhythm for VOE for P&P.
- VOE metrics: Define and continuously improve core metrics and ensure the right instrumentation so we have actionable data and look at changes over time.
- VOE analysis: Partner with People Analytics, Research, and Technology (PART) to analyze voice of employee data, expand data sources, and align with People & Places (P&P) priorities.
- Focused employee research: Collaborate with PART and People Experience Solutions teams to facilitate focus groups and other research for diagnosis of VOE, exploring potential actions, and measuring improvements.
- Actionable insights to influence P&P strategy: Draft narratives and summaries of insights for senior executives based on VOE that drive meaningful actions and impact and shape the company and P&P’s strategy. Continuously measure the impact of actions in addressing VOE, sentiment and feedback. Be a storyteller and influencer when it comes to VOE.
- Support VOE-related technology decisions: Contribute to decisions and planning done by PART on enabling technology and survey, sentiment, or analytics partnerships to support the work, including how we leverage GenAI and automation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously research and apply industry best practices to improve our employee listening and engagement and drive innovation.
- Align with employer branding: Partner with the Talent Marketing and Employer Brand team on strategy work that overlaps with VOE.
- Environment that encourages feedback: Foster an environment where employees want to share their perspectives and feedback with positive intent, knowing their voices are heard and valued.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience managing VOE programs and action planning, or working in overlapping areas like employee engagement and organizational development
- Proven thought leadership in the space with a track record of adopting innovative approaches and running VOE as a program at scale
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, and extensive experience working with senior executives
- Able to influence and lead at scale in a centralized model, working with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and core business leaders
- Adaptive critical thinking, judgment, and analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to shift between strategy and execution with high accountability for results
- Able to connect strategy with execution and execute with rigor in a fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally, and managing multiple priorities and initiatives
- Demonstrated experience developing effective data and measurement strategies to assess how programs are working and drive improvements
