Come join the Small Business Group’s (SBG) Product TPM team as a Principal Technical Program Manager focused on accelerating growth of the QuickBooks Live Platform. The SBG Product TPM team’s mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the SBG product organizations by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity. This role specifically supports the bold, technology-driven strategy to embrace an AI-first mindset to deliver an expert Platform at velocity.


This role requires a strategic leader who can partner with cross-functional Senior Leadership to drive forward the complex, cross-organizational initiatives essential for achieving our ambitious goals.


Responsibilities

Portfolio

  • Provide strong strategic partnership with QB Live Senior Leadership Team and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Quickly come up to speed and scale a large portfolio of high-priority deliverables independently

  • Understand the technology landscape and connect the dots across various programs within the portfolio to simplify the 'why/what/how'

  • Ability to manage the breadth and depth of the program portfolio

  • Partner with the Business Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to unblock and guide program teams' delivery across initiatives

  • Effectively identify and manage dependencies across the portfolio

  • Effectively manage risks, issues, and escalations and drive them through to closure

  • specific to platform market complexities, such as compliance challenges and infrastructure constraints

  • Demonstrate strong executive level communications skills driving transparency across program portfolio to Senior Leadership

Program

  • Drive the creation of Portfolio roadmaps and execution plans across all phases of planning, development, and production readiness and launch for key business platform initiatives

  • Ability to define and implement program frameworks ensuring operational rigor across the program enabling teams to deliver with ease

  • Strong ability to kickoff programs and establish close partnerships with core stakeholders

  • Be a results-oriented strong team player with the ability to anchor stakeholders to primary objectives and outcomes leading to quick decisions essential for speed and autonomy

  • Strategize and collaborate with core stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams across Product Management, Engineering, and other groups to effectively drive towards program outcomes

  • Thrive in establishing order and clarity amongst ambiguity and chaos

  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently in a complex environment


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 15 or more years leading multiple complex software-as-a-service (SaaS) development projects.

  • Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to influence at all levels with strong opinionated stakeholders  and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.

  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences, visually communicating goals of the program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria.

  • Good understanding of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Kanban, Agile, and Scrum development methodologies.

  • Computer science or other technical education or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Experience with large horizontal programs in close partnership with executive leadership

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: 

Bay Area California $ 230,000- 311,000
