About the t4i Team (Tech 4 Intuit)

The Intuit t4i (Tech for Intuit) organization is the technology engine that powers how Intuit runs, grows, and takes care of its people. We build and scale the core enterprise platforms that enable Intuit’s Workforce, People, and Places — from HR to Facilities, Events, Critical Infrastructure and Workforce Tech Care.

We are the team behind the systems that keep Intuit connected, secure, and productive every single day. Our technology powers every employee experience, every expert interaction, and every workspace around the world — helping Intuit’s people do the best work of their careers.

Our stakeholders span HR, Facilities, business unit leaders, and Intuit’s global workforce, including our expert community. Together, we deliver the digital foundation that fuels innovation, supports growth, and creates a world-class employee and expert experience — one that defines what it means to work at Intuit.

Simply put: t4i is how Intuit works. We connect people, technology, and purpose — building the systems that make Intuit’s mission possible.

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of t4i’s most critical, complex, and high-impact technical initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution and requires deep program management expertise, strong technical acumen, and the ability to drive clarity and momentum across highly ambiguous problem spaces.

As a Principal TPM, you will steward enterprise-wide programs that span multiple platforms, organizations, and stakeholders. Partnering closely with t4i Product Management, Engineering, Segment Business Units, and Corporate Functions, you will bring focus, discipline, and speed to execution while influencing senior leaders, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes. You will define and deliver programs that are foundational to how Intuit delivers, scales, and transforms its internal platforms at the enterprise level.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Programs: Drive delivery of t4i’s most critical, cross-organizational technical programs, partnering with executive leaders, product management, and engineering teams.

  • Shape Direction and Outcomes: Influence technical priorities and investment decisions across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Drive Transformation: Lead large-scale, transformational initiatives across complex ecosystems, navigating ambiguity, interdependencies, and organizational change.
  • Deliver with Rigor: Define and execute high-quality program plans, leveraging data to track progress, manage risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

  • Apply Technical Judgment: Bring deep understanding of software development and platform technologies to guide execution, trade-offs, and decision-making.

  • Build Capability: Establish and evolve technical program management best practices, tools, and frameworks; coach and mentor other TPMs and contribute to the growth of the TPM discipline.

  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing clarity, execution leadership, and insight across t4i’s most complex initiatives.

    How You Will Grow

You will be part of a strong, cross-organizational Intuit Program Management community that collaborates to solve complex problems and advance the craft of program management. You will partner closely with experienced program leadership who will help remove barriers, expand your influence, and accelerate your impact.

In this role, you will continue to grow as an enterprise leader—deepening your technical and strategic expertise, increasing your contribution to Intuit’s most critical initiatives, and mentoring others to raise the bar across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven Program Leadership: 12+ years of experience leading and delivering complex, large-scale technical programs within highly matrixed organizations.

  • Technical Depth: Strong understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles, and modern engineering practices, including Agile and iterative delivery models.

  • Strategic Orientation: Ability to translate business and technology strategy into executable programs, analyze industry trends, and make data-driven decisions that accelerate outcomes.

  • Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience using data to assess program health, identify risks, and drive decision-making; familiarity with analytics and emerging technologies is expected.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. PMP, Agile certifications, or equivalent demonstrated program leadership experience preferred.
