Job Overview

Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group is looking for a Solutions Discovery & Strategy Senior Manager to support QuickBooks marketing. Solutions sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, technology and execution. We help bring personalized customer experiences to life in a durable, scalable, and measurable way, leveraging our data, channels, and personalization tools. The primary responsibility of the D&S Senior Manager will be turning marketing strategy into reality by asking key strategic questions to understand the desired customer experience and utilize technology and data to bring it to life. This role will also manage day-to-day operational tasks, lead a team of CWs, identify and resolve issues, and leverage technology to refine and improve existing processes. 

Responsibilities

  • Cross-functional partnership:
    • Communicate across departments and leadership levels data and technical requirements and use case to prioritize work across teams
    • Help troubleshoot possible issues (data, targeting rules, or campaign set up, etc.), articulate the issues with internal groups, identify action items and teams needed for resolution, and help drive issue resolution
  • Strategy and execution: 
    • Understand campaign strategy, business requirements, and customer experience goals and translate them into technical strategy
    • Identify the needed technology and teams needed to execute the desired strategy
    • Confidently probe and/or articulate recommendations based on data, learnings and insights
    • Drive desired outcomes through efficient campaign planning and build 
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Identify and implement new technologies/processes to improve efficiency and velocity
    • Lead team through change and guides adaptability
    • Bias toward action and extreme ownership of outcomes
  • Data discovery:
    • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand audience targeting requirements and translate them into actual targeting rules and data attributes across various marketing platforms
    • Perform data discovery to identify all needed data attributes to support campaign audience segmentation and personalization
    • Validate if needed data attributes are/are not available in all end channels and platforms, and validate values are as expected
    • Work with data stewards, product teams, and engineers to identify data specs for onboarding requirements
    • Fill out technical requirements documents to onboard all data not readily available 
  • Audience building: 
    • Define audience cohorts to achieve desired targeting in multiple end-channels and platforms (Eloqua, Segment, AEP, Braze and other internal tools) 
    • Troubleshoot targeting issues when audience size is not as expected or there are low/no impressions

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing Automation/Marketing Technology/CRM/Marketing Operations 
  • Experience using a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Journey Orchestration (CJO)
  • Experience using Marketing Automation platforms like Adobe, Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, etc. 
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
  • Experience defining audiences/cohorts 
  • Experience with segmentation, personalization, and fully automating campaigns utilizing data feeds and customer action triggers
  • Experience marketing SaaS, apps or similar online or e-Commerce services or products
  • Experience managing multiple tools to create one customer experience or journey

Soft skills: 

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity is a must

  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to question/challenge the status quo when alternative solutions will provide more effective or efficient outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and logic to make data-based decisions
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to speak technically to different stakeholders: Analytics, Marketing, Martech, Legal, Finance
  • Ability to be nimble with evolving requirements and responsibilities

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $117000-158000, Southern California $113500-154000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
