Senior Program Manager, Event Experience Technical Production & Delivery

Job Overview
Intuit’s internal creative team is looking for an exceptional and seasoned professional to oversee the technical production and delivery of some of our most important strategic events. This is a high visibility role, requiring that you collaborate with many groups across the organization, and being hands-on in bringing event experiences to life.
This role is integral to the Event Production team, whose mission is to drive the creation and execution of e2e event experiences. We design and deliver impactful events for Intuit customers, employees, partners, and investors; combining emotive experiences and world-class production to delight and drive engagement. The Senior Program Manager will focus on shaping strategic intent into meaningful storytelling and experiences, building production plans and repeatable use cases for our internal technology teams and external vendors. This role reports to the Head of Event Production.

The Senior Program Manager will uphold the team's guiding principles, including COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE through meticulous planning and flawless execution, and ATTENDEE EMPATHY as the lens through which we make decisions.
• Driving Strategy and Execution: Drive the technical strategy and execution of innovative events e2e on a global scale, translating innovative experiential concepts into real life broadcasts on a global scale.
• Production Expertise: Demonstrate deep technical expertise in live video and audio production, event technology, and virtual event delivery platforms. Oversee and manage the operational components of production and delivery, including the creation of project plans, runs of show, and documentation of technologies.
• Operational Excellence: Strengthen operational and event delivery processes by designing event templates and updating playbooks. Lead the program workflows, owning milestones and the run-of-show. Implement the creative process and readiness milestones (30/60/90 readiness model) to ensure alignment and troubleshooting.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Lead collaborative project teams that shape the overall experience. Communicate and collaborate effectively across project teams, including initiating conversations, to guide and establish exciting customer experience goals. Manage and nurture both internal and external production teams to evolve the business and deliver ever greater experiences. Serve as a Stakeholder liaison to translate clearly for cross-functional alignment.
• Contingency Planning: Build, validate, and document contingency plans for all technologies to be used during each event. Implement contingency plans when required. Be the voice of reason in the room during an outage.
• Budget and Fiscal Management: Exhibit fiscally responsible judgment. Manage event production budgets, keep stakeholders informed of changes, and explain the rationale behind decisions. Manage and track project budgets, including vendor approval, working with Business Operations to process invoices and track expenses.
• Strategic Impact & Evaluation: Achieve measurable business impact according to the defined goals. Translate data into recommendations focused on enhanced strategic value, utilizing metrics like NPS, engagement, registration, and aligning events with primary KPIs such as driving business outcomes, employee engagement, or innovation pipeline. Conduct post-event analysis including evaluation and reporting.
• Innovation: Keep up-to-date on experiential best practices, innovations, and technologies, embracing lifelong learning and constructive curiosity.

• 7+ years in experiential live event production and delivery, leading and executing internal and external experiences end-to-end.
• Proven expertise in leading complex, global event experience production and delivery.
• Extensive understanding of how to deliver hybrid events across many screens, including but not limited to virtual event streaming platforms, mainstage LED walls, and 4K projectors, with the ability to diagram audio and video routing schematics.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop a vision from insights and execute actionable plans. Must be adaptable and able to demonstrate quick decision making.
• Experience in project management and program management, showing a commitment to excellence through meticulous planning.
• Deep empathy for partners, speakers, and collaborators, reflecting the team's focus on deep customer empathy and utilizing the Design for Delight (D4D) principles.
• Ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders and C-suite executives to achieve event objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional environment, drive decisions, and develop a sphere of influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change, tight deadlines, limited resources and cross-functional dependencies.
• Data-driven with the ability to demonstrate how events align with and make an impact on Intuit’s overall business and marketing strategy.
• Some travel required - 10-15%; minimal travel
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
