Job Overview
Come join the QuickBooks Acquisition Marketing Team as the Staff Marketing Manager, Performance Creative Lead. This role leads creative strategy and development to drive performance marketing results. You will be the performance creative thought leader, translating short and long term business objectives into creative approaches solving for B2B lead generation, ROAS optimized outcomes, platform consideration goals, and other key objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of performance and creative principles, the nuances of B2B and B2C creative strategies, and awareness of emerging platform trends to inspire and guide our channels and agencies in their creative explorations.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative approaches for business growth: Partner cross-functionally with business and media channel owners (e.g., Social, Programmatic, etc) to deeply understand their objectives and translate them into actionable creative strategies. Act as a strategic partner, proactively contributing creative solutions that address performance marketing goals like B2B lead generation, customer growth, revenue growth, and platform consideration. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging creative formats.
- Accelerate Creative Production: Build and implement strategies to leverage transformative technologies and best practices (Gen AI, DCO, creative templates) to increase creative development velocity, business impact, and lead generation for mid-market businesses.
- Build and execute creative learning agendas: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop structured learning agendas that prioritize key creative questions and testing opportunities. Drive these agendas to actionable insights, apply learnings to future creative development, and influence cross-functional partners.
- Develop and manage creative roadmaps: Create creative calendar and roadmaps with clear timelines and milestones to ensure alignment across stakeholders and initiatives. Proactively communicate progress and address any roadblocks to keep projects on track. Anticipate evolving business priorities and adjust roadmaps accordingly to balance the team’s time and to maximize impact.
- Craft compelling creative briefs: Develop clear and concise creative briefs that effectively communicate the business objectives, target audience, key messaging, and desired creative direction. Ensure briefs provide sufficient context for creative partners while allowing room for creative exploration and innovation. Continuously refine the brief template based on feedback and learnings.
- Build strong relationships: Develop deep relationships with internal teams and agency partners to find areas of collaboration, to share performance insights, and to influence roadmaps. Manage agency relationships, including providing feedback, implementing optimizations, overseeing SOWs, and managing resourcing.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of agency account or client-side experience with experience in B2B marketing and lead generation
- Strong understanding of performance creative principles and testing methodologies
- Proven ability to lead and influence large cross-functional teams and manage conflicting priorities
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and a drive to achieve significant, measurable results
- Track record of making data-backed business decisions balanced with sound judgment
- Expertise building creative solutions for mid-market decision makers and small business owners
- Experience managing complex budgets across multiple agency partners and initiatives
- Experience managing, developing, and mentoring talent
- Excellent project management skills (organized and detail-oriented)
- Passion for finding external inspiration to challenge existing creative approaches
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $151,00-204,500, Southern California $144,500-195,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
