Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

QuickBooks proudly serves over 6 million small & medium sized businesses (SMBs). While initially started as desktop and bookkeeping software, QuickBooks has grown to provide millions of businesses with payments, capital, banking, payroll, and other financial services - moving over $200 billion in and out of businesses every year.

Small businesses fuel our global economy, but the odds are stacked against them with 50% of businesses failing in the first five years. Of the most severe challenges a small business faces, is managing their cash flow: balancing inflows and outflows, late customer payments, funding growth, and making payroll all while hoping there’s enough leftover for profit or a rainy day.

QuickBooks is on a mission to change the game by providing access to services that improve business’s prospects and increase their survival rate.

If you have a passion for helping SMBs solve their cash flow & growth challenges, and are energized by the opportunity to grow our lending business through our flagship Term Loan offering, this might be the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth strategy for QuickBooks Term Loan, helping businesses obtain the funding they need across all QuickBooks channels
  • Own the full end-to-end Term Loan customer lifecycle from discovery through loan payoff, demonstrating deep customer empathy and a detailed understanding of their journey
  • Create bold new experiences for both Accountants and business owners to help them recognize and solve the funding need before it’s too late
  • Set and communicate product goals and initiatives to all stakeholders while collaborating cross-functionally to optimize our product - and interact regularly with the Senior Leadership team
  • Establish and manage the roadmap for your product, defining the “why”, “what,” and “when” of what your team will build
  • Encourage a culture of experimentation, learning, and a growth-mindset - never settling for the status quo and innovating on the bleeding edge of what’s possible
  • Partner with our Capital Lending Platform, Risk, Underwriting, Data Science, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure our lending products are compliant, durable through credit cycles, and serve our customers’ needs while maintaining responsible lending practices
  • Be the domain expert for your product and drive execution on the team’s roadmap through agile engineering sprints, prioritizing between new features and customer feedback, and partnering with design to execute on customer-driven solutions
  • Continuously analyze effectiveness through performance metrics and leverage an iterative process to refine and fine-tune the product strategy

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management at a high-growth technology company with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Demonstrable experience in - and a passion for - applying Product Led Growth principles
  • Proven ability to build, manage and influence direct and indirect relationships, and to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills, along with the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade offs, and efficiently frame and evaluate new ideas
  • Previous experience with lending (preferable), payments, or other financial services
