Job Overview

Come join Intuit as a Staff Product Manager on the Monetization Platform team. This role sits at the intersection of product innovation and financial integrity. You will lead the strategy and execution of core finance platform capabilities that power Intuit’s global monetization engine including billing, commerce, payments, subscription management, revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15), tax, financial reporting, and ERP integrations.


This is not only a customer-facing monetization platform role, it is also a finance systems and revenue infrastructure role. You will partner deeply with Controllership, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit to ensure that our monetization systems are scalable, compliant, auditable, and automation-first.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the vision and strategy for critical finance and revenue recognition capabilities within the monetization platform.
  • Define and lead strategy for core finance platform capabilities including:
  • Revenue recognition automation (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
  • Deferred revenue management
  • Subscription lifecycle accounting
  • Billing accuracy and financial controls
  • Tax compliance and remittance integrations
  • Payment reconciliation and settlement reporting
  • ERP and General Ledger integrations
  • Influence product partners to solve durable and scalable capabilities towards critical business goals. Partner with Revenue Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Tax, and Audit teams to translate regulatory and reporting requirements into scalable system capabilities.
  • Provide product thought leadership to identify, prioritize and solution top business capability needs; synthesize business goals into platform capabilities and product roadmaps; 
  • Drive automation of manual finance processes to reduce close cycle time, improve accuracy, and strengthen audit readiness.
  • Ensure monetization systems meet SOX compliance and internal control requirements.
  • Design traceable, auditable financial data flows from transaction to ledger. Own reconciliation frameworks across payments, billing systems, and ERP.
  • Ensure global readiness (multi-entity, multi-currency, international tax, cross-border payments).
  • Design and bring to market revenue generating, customer-driven software products. 
  • Demonstrate customer obsession by being a champion for the user experience, deep customer empathy by leading voice of the customer sessions.
  • Survey the state of the industry and technology advances to identify the next wave of monetization innovations relevant to Intuit.
  • Be part of the extended product management team to contribute across Intuit technology.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in finance systems, billing platforms, payments infrastructure, or revenue management systems.
  • Strong understanding of  Revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), Subscription billing models, Deferred revenue and revenue allocation, Financial reporting and GL integrations, SOX controls and audit requirements. 
  • Experience partnering directly with Controllership, Revenue Accounting, Tax, or FP&A teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) and financial data flows.
  • Experience designing scalable financial capabilities and processes for B2B and B2C segments globally.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret financial metrics and translate them into product requirements.
  • Proven track record of delivering world-class enterprise software products by leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience managing various finance domain areas, such as commerce, billing, revenue recognition, subscription mgmt, payment, tax, etc
  • Proven ability to facilitate and drive decision-making that balances business and technical goals.
  • Demonstrated platform mindset with ability to define and execute a successful portfolio of platform capabilities that enable diverse use cases.
  • Skilled at cross functional collaboration; strong at influencing and negotiating.
  • Undergraduate degree required. Focus in computer science, MIS, or a related technical preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: 

Bay Area California $180,500- 244,000
