As the People & Places Business Analyst you will play a critical role in designing our global People & Places systems. You are someone who can operate as a designer, both business process and technical requirements, and a product manager to ensure implemented solutions deliver awesome experiences.

In this fast-paced role, you will own the Total Rewards Technology and Data roadmap and strategy. You will identify business needs and translate them into system enhancements that deliver exceptional employee experiences. Your focus will be on building scalable and sustainable solutions that meet both current and future needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technology partners to ensure successful delivery and drive impactful outcomes.

You will be responsible for contributing to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to create amazing experiences for our most important asset – our people - to help us achieve our mission of ‘Maximizing the Potential of our Employees’ and accelerate Intuit's business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Compensation COE, Data ,technology for Intuit (t4i) and PART to build strong compensation technology foundation and drive change across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Lead highly complex initiatives with accountability/ responsibility that transcends multiple teams and projects across HR and IT organizations.
  • Lead Year End & Talent Pay technology solution end to end, which includes requirement elicitation, solution design, testing and ensuring technical milestones are delivered on time and scope.
  • Be the expert who connects the dots! You will analyze the impact of system changes across Talent, HCM, Compensation, and other related systems, ensuring data integrity and a smooth user experience.
  • Be Data Steward for Total Rewards technologies. You will partner with technology and business teams to define and implement data governance processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance. A key focus will be on incorporating 'Data by Design' principles in all development initiatives, building data quality into the foundation of our systems.
  • Ensure clear communication of project scopes, timing, and progress on an ongoing basis
  • Define a technology vision and capability roadmap for specific initiatives and People & Places domains through strategic partnerships, influence, and both internal/external best-practices
  • Be bold about the customer problem to solve, driving deep empathy and data-driven decision, with continuous experimentation to deliver for the customer.
  • Defines high-quality E2E product experience for customers across multiple products, domains, and capabilities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to further leverage best-in-class technology and minimize technology debt that hinders long-term scalability.
  • Work to drive and implement best practices across all platforms, digital innovation, process automation, and emerging technologies that fit business requirements.
  • Responsible for writing user stories and traceability of business requirements to technical solution designs, test cases, test evidence approval.
  • Understand customer’s requirements and assist/participate with the project team on the most appropriate approach and desired outcomes.
  • Responsible to configure Workday Compensation and Adv Comp elements.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which includes creating, maintaining, and executing UAT scripts including regression testing the new functionality before deployment.
  • Enable Data driven decision making for all aspects of Tech solution design. Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.
  • Interface with key partners and vendors, ensuring they understand project deliverables, meet timing and cost deadlines, and collaborate with internal project stakeholders while augmenting internal team resources.
  • Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans and other slide decks for presenting to leadership.
  • Comfortable with SDLC tools such as Aha, JIRA.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with HR technology solutions and functional knowledge of Compensation domain.
  • Must have Workday Advanced Compensation module expertise, Workday Advanced Compensation certification is preferred.
  • Must have deep understanding of all Workday Modules (Talent, HCM, etc) and People Technology Products.
  • Responsible for managing project timelines and task assignments to ensure successful completion of the project within scope and on schedule.
  • Analyze end-user experiences and needs, business processes, and thoroughly document functional requirements to be used for system development and testing.
  • A passion for developing solutions that deliver outstanding experiences.
  • Effective communicator - ability to articulate clear messages to team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Skilled at managing various internal and external stakeholders during complex implementation initiatives.
  • Agile and able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Possess an orientation for results and excellence, demonstrating conceptual and analytical thinking, initiative and flexibility.
  • Business Process Analysis.
  • Business Requirements Documentation Technology Solution Traceability.
  • Testing (UAT, SIT).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $177,000 - 239,500, Southern California $161,500 - 218,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
