Come join the QuickBooks Mid-Market Marketing Team as a Staff Product Marketing Strategist. Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is committed to creating solutions to power prosperity around the world by meeting the needs of businesses ranging from solopreneurs to mid-market. We do this with an online platform of business solutions across accounting, payroll, time tracking, payments, bill pay, lending, and more.

Part of the U.S. Marketing team, the Mid-Market Marketing team is seeking a highly motivated product marketing and strategy professional who is excited to make an impact on one of Intuit’s 3 Big Bets: Disrupt the Small Business Mid-Market. The ideal candidate is a self-starting strategic thinker with experience translating market, product, and customer insights into strong product and marketing strategies while influencing and partnering cross-functionally to bring their bold visions to life. The role will have two major components:

  1. Partner with our product management team to understand the needs of our partners (Accountants and Value Added Resellers), prioritize our roadmap to meet their needs and drive business outcomes, partner with cross-functional teams to improve how they sell, and ensuring the content, messaging, and positioning of our platform is tailored to the needs of these partners.
  2. Partner with our Professional Services and Customer Success teams to understand the service needs of mid market businesses, prioritize the roadmap according to customer need and business opportunity, and craft the value propositions and messaging so customers understand the value of engaging with these services.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with accountants and value added resellers (VARs) to understand their needs
  • Define the accountant and VAR landscape, market size, and the opportunity size of serving these partners
  • Partner with product management to influence the product roadmap based on partner needs
  • Tailor the messaging and positioning of our online platform for partners to convey the benefits of our online platform and help these partners convey this to their business clients
  • Partner with our GTM teams to drive adoption and business results with these partners 
  • Understand the professional services landscape and mid market needs to influence roadmap prioritization and service delivery improvements
  • Craft the messaging and positioning for the value propositions delivered through professional services and customer success to drive platform adoption

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $158,000-213,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required, or equivalent work experience. Experience in SaaS companies, B2B marketing, or consulting
  • 5+ years of professional experience in strategy and product marketing; familiarity with mid-market business solutions a plus
  • Ability to drive strategy formation with consumer insights and market intelligence
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize across a vast array of product solutions and initiatives
  • Solid verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as an effective communicator at all levels
  • Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
  • Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with experienced judgment
  • Strong project management skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong organization navigational skills, including ability to lead and influence without direct authority
  • Ability to manage ambiguous or complex issues with thoughtful recommendations
