Job Overview
Come join the Intuit as a "Staff Full Stack Engineer". Our team leads a new initiative at Intuit, working on our transformation into an AI-driven expert platform. At the heart of this transformation is the creation of a secure, modern, blazing fast and finely curated map of the world's financial information, provided to Intuit with trust and care by tens of millions of people and businesses worldwide. Our team is building the products, workflows and methodologies that will be used to profoundly change the way we all manage our financial lives.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end design and implementation of front end platform capabilities
- Design & Develop full stack solutions
- Drive efforts to define and implement software development practices to deliver highest quality software products. (unit testing , integration testing etc)
- Mentoring/Empowering junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
- Roughly 70% hands-on coding
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Experience working with Self-Serve Data Platforms.
- Expertise with front-end tools & technologies is a must (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). In-depth knowledge working with the following technologies:
- React, Redux, Apollo GraphQL, React hooks.
- Jest, Enzyme, Storybook.
- Webpack
- Expertise in the Software design/architecture process.
- Expertise designing and developing RESTful services.
- Familiarization with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
- Willingness to take initiative and unblock yourself to get things done.
- Ability to deliver work incrementally to get feedback and iterate over solutions.
- Have a passion for working on User facing features and workflows that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure
- You are easy to work with: you communicate well, take feedback in a positive way and are OK not always doing the most glamorous tasks.
- Deep understanding of java script and react
- Experience building front end frameworks at large scale
- Proven track record of innovating and influencing to provide novel and effective solutions to difficult software engineering problems
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial perspective in ideation and implementation
- Experience building web analytics solutions , tracking libraries is a strong plus
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $191,000-258,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
