Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Intuit API Gateway team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable distributed systems that will be used throughout the Intuit ecosystem. You will work closely with other developers, architects, and product managers to ensure that our products deliver a world-class user experience and meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

-Design and build robust, scalable, and secure API Gateway products that meet the needs of our customers.

 

-Work closely with other developers, architects, and product managers to understand the requirements for our products and ensure that they meet customer needs.

 

-Identify and address performance, security, and scalability issues

 

-Develop automated tests and other tools to ensure that our products meet quality standards.

 

-Stay current with the latest developments in technology and integrate them into our products as appropriate.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

 

-At least 8 years of experience in software development

 

-Strong knowledge of API Gateway products, including API management, security, and traffic routing.

 

-Experience working with distributed systems and scalable architectures.

 

-Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Go.

 

-Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

 

-Experience working with Kuberenetes.

 

-Experience working with microservices architecture.

 

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

 

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

 

-Experience mentoring junior developers.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $149,500-202,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
