Job Overview

Come join the Small Business Group’s (SBG) Product TPM team as a Staff Technical Program Manager focused on accelerating growth of the QuickBooks platform. The SBG Product TPM team’s mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the SBG product organizations by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity. Our vision for Quickbooks is to become the connected end-to-end platform that small and mid-market businesses rely on every day to run their business, growing revenue and profitability 2x faster. 


In this role, you will be program managing a portfolio of initiatives driving retention of Quickbooks customers in close partnership with product, engineering, customer success, and marketing leaders. We are looking for candidates who have strong program management experience with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results. 


Responsibilities


  • Drive technical program management for one or more key programs within the SBG ecosystem growth and retention portfolio, partnering with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Operations teams. 

  • Orchestrate in-year planning for the portfolio in close partnership with key stakeholders to develop program roadmaps and align with dependent teams.

  • Drive cross-functional execution establishing program operating rhythms, leading cross-functional meetings and fostering collaboration.

  • Strong ability to kickoff programs and establish close partnerships with core stakeholders.

  • Ability to define and implement program frameworks ensuring operational rigor across the program enabling teams to deliver with ease.

  • Be a results-oriented strong team player with the ability to anchor stakeholders to primary objectives and outcomes leading to quick decisions essential for speed and autonomy.

  • Strategize and collaborate across broad categories of stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams to effectively drive towards program outcomes.

  • Communicate progress, status, risks, and relevant insights for your programs across organizational boundaries and levels.

  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, work well with others when conflicts arise. See opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.

  • Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model.

  • Partner with other TPMs to define, socialize and implement organization-wide processes.


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of Program Management experience, including 8 or more years leading multiple complex technology-focused programs

  • Self-starter able to track complex and/or large volume of details (technical and program related), manage and coordinate with 10-15 scrum teams, across multiple sites

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels

  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for engineers and executive-level audiences. Ability to communicate goals & challenges of programs, relationship to business goals, provide summarized exec views, while also being able to get into the details. Self-awareness of what to share with each audience.

  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and leverage those relationships to influence across organizational boundaries for delivery of best outcomes.

  • Proven experience using AI tools to streamline processes and drive velocity.

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.

  • Good understanding of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: 

Bay Area California $ 177,500- 240,500
